This deck is still very beta, but I've tested just a bit and found the deck has quite alot of synergy...
the main basis is too win the card advantage war, and keep their side clear enough to let little men take life away, then allow kodama, (and possibly meloku...testing) take it away.
I found alot of decks have no answer to kodama, so i've been really happy with him
Here's the deck, I mostly want help with the sb, and possibly maindeck choices...
As more people comment, I will add in my 2 cents.

im going to have to say confidant is almost a VERY bad idea...
You are just opening yourself up to Burn smashing your head in.. ( especially when u draw up that meloku or kodama )
Suggested changes
- 3 Confidant
- 1 Last Gasp
+ 4 Remand |

where's the fun in magic if you're just willing to toss heaviliy used cards on one deck and cross your fingers too see if it works?
try to be original from time to time |

on one hand your rigt that this is not the most original deck.
that said, this is an original post-dis. list that actually doesn't suck. every other on tried to squeeze in every new card they could, ultimitly taking away from the main plan of the deck.
confidants are very good. to all you that disagree, play the game more than once in a while, to quote a million people, card advantage wins games. for every time bob flips a kodama with you at three life, he will have won you a half dozen games where you could never have won on one card a turn.
as for the deck, i does seem like the best list i've seen for post-dissension. the only suggestion i will make is to move nekrataal to sideboard or to remove him completely. as good as he is, he's a double black creature in a deck that could have some problems hitting double black. i'm having trouble thinking of a good replacement right now. hypnotic specter seems good in nekrataal's spot, but it suffers even more from the double black problem. perhaps trygon predator could fill the void. its a 2/3 flyer for 1GU that disenchants when it hits a player.
if it sounded like i was talking to myself above, i probabl was. basically my suggestions are:
keep bob in
drop nekrataal
add 2 trygon predator. |

| Bob is certainly good, but not when he's going to flip 15 damage in a game 50% of the time. You think your opponent can't deal 5 to you (less if you brought a shockland in untapped)? If you want to play bob your average CC in the deck should be no higher than 3 or he'll lose you more games than you win. If you want card advantage in a deck like this you'll have to go to more traditional sources like phyrexian arena(still not good in your deck). Hell, even psychic possession is better in your deck than bob and it's still not good for you. |

I will stand by what I said about Bob being very bad in this deck.
There are just too many cards with high cc in it for him to be good.
Actually if you are going to play with the 4 Ninja of the Deep hours perhaps you could drop the 2 Nekrataals for 2 Higure, the Still Winds.
Unblockable ninjas equipped with Jittes are kind of nice and do generate card advantage that doesnt make you take lots of damage |
