In this set, all the colors are at war. There are no ally colors, and enemy ties are stronger than ever. This set takes place in the Keros Vale, which is dominated by a combination of Humans, Elves, and Cats. Skirge led by a twisted wizard, Motrayel, lie on the outskirts and are completely outcast by the rest of society. Overtime, Motrayel's armys have grown in number to a point where he feels invasion is near. There is betrayal in the air, as his ace in the hole, and number 1 henchmen, Keema plots to destroy Motrayel. Meanwhile, the dwarves are at war with the Elves for not allowing them to set up mines on what they feel like is "their" lands. The Humans and the Cats are the only two races that get along, and are completely unaware of Motrayel's plans. What will happen?!

Humans(Dekaba) and Cats (Warri) are white

Skirges (Motrayan) And the usual zombies/demons are black.

Elves (Reighna) are green, along with the usual beats and assorted natural beings.

Humans/Wizards (Famantros) Are Blue.

Dwarevs, along wit the usual goblins and assorted aggressive beings are Red.

In this set, there is an emphasis on mono-colors. Every color hates every other color basically. Here's the Mechanics.

Fuel (Allcolors)- If you have the designated amount of mana in your mana pool that is the same color as the permanent or spell, you get the fuel bonus.

Skirge Assasin 1BBB
Creature-Imp

Flying

Fuel 4 - Discard a card from your hand : Destroy target creature. It can't be regenerated.

3/1

If you have 4 black mana (or whatever color the card happens to be at the time) in your mana pool, you get the ability.

So here's some cards to get your feet wet with, the feel free to start contributing.

Destined for Betrayal 2BBB (R)
Sorcery

Search your library for up to 4 black cards, put them into your hand, then discard 2 cards at random. Shuffle your library afterwards.

Desecrate the Elders 2RR (R)
Instant

Destroy target basic land.

Fuel 2- Return Desecrate the Elders to your hand, then discard a card at random from your hand.

Sheltering Winds WW (U)
Instant

Target white creature gains protection from Red, White, Blue, and from Black until end of turn.

Fuel 4- All creatures you control gain protection from these colors instead.

Jinx 2UU (U)
Instant

Target player reveals his or her hand. Counter target spell with the same name as a card in that player's hand. If no spell is countered wit Jinx, return it to owner's hand instead of putting it in a graveyard.

Stampeding Tangle-Beast 1G (C)
Creature- Beast

Trample

When Stampeding Tangle-Beast comes into play, you may sacrifice a forest. If you do not, target opponent gains control of Stampeding Tangle-Beast.

4/2

Tomb Seal 3 (C)
Artifact

Cards in players' graveyards can not be the target of spells or abilities by his or her opponents.

i have an idea for a mechanic...

for example:

Reighna Hunter 1GG

Creature- Elf Archer

Reighna Hunter can block as tought it has flying

Hunter 2 -- This gains First Strike (this creature gains Hunter as long as you control 2 other green creatures).

3/2

the flavor is that when you control certain number of creatures they become like a haunting pack or something, i dunno

I think someone around here was already doing a strictly mono set, but another one can't hurt.

It looks like your gonna need some help with balance, as alot of those cards are either under or overpowered. I can go into detail about that later, just browsing atm.

I think Fuel needs a more.. intresting name.

Good luck though.

Stampeding tangle beast is far FAR too powerful. rogue elephant wasn't even as good as tangle-beast.

WAYYY to powerful... The beast would be more balanced as say... GR casting cost and the sac would be basic plains or something along those lines. but then it would be out of line with the set. An interesting twist would be cards that help you and/or your opponent for having multiple perms. of the same color. For example: An artifact for each color, with a diff. cast cost accordingly . If a player has more than 6 permanents in play with the same color (another mechanic, like ColorLove 6) he or she (draws x cards if blue, gains x life if white, may search library for creature with converted cost x and lose x life if black, deal x damg. to target player if red, put creature with converted cost x in play if green) where x is the number of perms above 6. This would encourage/ help mono color decks. So to clear the air:
Famatros' Focus
Artifact cc: 4
ColorLove6
If a player has 6 or more blue perms in play during their upkeep, they draw x cards where x is the number over 6.
Maybe a little overpowered, but in light of these unheard of 4-5 color decks in t2, it would be neat to see some aggressive 1 color decks with the proper tools.
