this is just a test deck that is URW control with descendant

I didn't really want to do a mother may I type blue deck so i kept away from things that did not add tempo and to help descendant stay beefed. Firemane Angels is in there for some firepower if i need it and i just wanted to see how Droning Bureacrats would work. Everything else is pretty simple. I havnt worked out a SB yet.

I really need help to solidfy the mana base, i mean the one i have works but if somone could smooth it out for me that'd be cool.

Having said that, Unit92 you might want more card drawing in there. Take out Droning Bureaucrats for maybe Telling Time? Or maybe Jushi Apprentice.

We don't have to worry about it, becuase not only do we have competence and deck building skills, not one of us could think of something that bad, let alone post it for everyone to see.

Half of the people who talk shit on this forum have a rating of something like 1500, because they netdeck Heartbeat WITHOUT knowing how to play it.

Tuning your own decks is a GREAT start to learning how to play decks better, good job on the try.

But they are right, card draw is GOOD. Compulsive Research would be good. And, since you are playing control, maybe a little bit more white and Wrath of God to deal with BW and Gruul/Zoo.

I couldn't find anything else wrong with it other than the Droning guys which replaced with Wrath and i decided to change firemane angel to Yosei because he seems more in tune with the decks purpose.

I played BW aggro and won 2-1 its kinda tough battle aggro vs. control discard vs. draw but Electrolyze is just too amazing against them.

Played a round against Savage Heartbeat, with early burn + life gain + bounce/counter it wasn't much of a problem but against SB who knows.

Right, Storm Herd is horrible and desparately needs to go.

I've never played with Repeal and liked it, only hated it.

You might want maindeck Faith's Fetters. Maybe maindeck Pithing Needle. Mana Leak would probably be nice. There's a decent chance that you'd be well off with 4 maindeck WoG. Some other creatures you might play are Niv-Mizzet, Keiga, and Meloku, although Yosei is probably best.

You don't have a sideboard.

When I said, "That guy is terrible" I obviously meant that Droning Bureaucrats is terrible, not that the poster of the topic is terrible. This deck idea actually isn't bad at all (except for Droning Bureaucrats, because really that card is horrendous). I would want more karoo lands, and more counter magic. Other than that, the idea definitely seems fine. We definitely need to build a viable sideboard for it - that would clearly need to include sacred ground (man, vore is a horrendous matchup for decks like these).
