I keep seeing bob, I am going to guess that it is Meloku. Why does everyone call it bob?

Bob refers to Dark Confidant, you n00b Razz

Anyways, this list is VERY incomplete. Options that should be on it, in my opinion, include:

Yosei, the Morning Star
Sakura-Tribe Elder
Kokusho, the Evening Star
Magnivore
Tallowisp
Ghost Council of Orzhova

All those are creatures that would definately receive a lot of votes if the poll was left up enough.

As for me, I vote Yosei. He's never pleasant to look at.

The best 3 are Ghost Council, Firemane Angel (seriously.), and Dark Confidant, with Confidant way ahead of the field.

Bob refers to Dark Confident because it was the card created by Bob Maher when he won the Invitational a few years ago.
My vote also goes to Bob.

Sorry that I live under a rock in the magic world, but some of us have big boy things to do...like live.

Thanks for telling me about Bob, now I know the joke and can now make fun of everyone who says it; because it's not trendy to be a pseudointellectual, jargon is usually pretentious.

Right before the Betrayers PrereleaseI saw someone refer to Bushi Tenderfoot/Kenzo the Hardhearted as Bob/Super Bob. That caused me to be confused a little....

Bill Mahar won a tourney? WoW! These polls are always the worst. There is no "best" card period. Black Lotus in the late game is the last thing I want to draw. But as for versatility, I like scarab, bob, heirarch... But Kokusho=vanilla pudding!

Truth is it's really hard to sya whats the best since cards are good for different reasons like...

Confident - Good as an early creature and getting extra cards

Sakura Tribe Elder - Good to fight aggro and mana accel

Meloku - Just a crazy win condition

It requires a lot of idiocy to call man a n00b, cause he doesnt know about this. Wake up, there are a lot more activities on the World then just playing Magic.

I was always a big fan of Silhana Ledgewalker, but as for the 'best' card in T2, I would have to say...hmmm.... mountain, island, swamp, plains, forest....between those.

(ps, ban Island, the most broken card in the game)

Actually, this is the correct application of the word. "n00b" is someone who doesn't know all the minor elements of the game because they are new. Not know Bob refers to Dark Confidant is one of the signs of being a n00b.

Ok, I dont agree with this exactly, but I wont be arguing about details. To be clear - this Bob information is completely unimportant. Will you write somewhere a post calling someone a noob, because he didnt know it? To give a comparison - When someone posts here or anywhere else info, that he used to smoke Marihuana, will you start writing "Oh you junkie!!!"?
