I've been very unlucky in important matches and also lost some rating because of the downtime. In the beginning I went down to 1500 because I kept using decks made by myself that were viable. I was just trying a few things and lost so much rating. Also rating doesn't reset at the end of the season so the long time players have a huge advantage.
Once again: those players already have higher chances why give them even more chances? is that fair? |
um...wat does the number tell you...it tells you how good u play. Get over it. You are just mad because you dont have as much skill as the other ppl here. Get over it. its not like you arent gonnna have 15 other chances to play in the trials. And for the record. Im an under 1700 player and i have no problem with this. They deserve to be rewarded for their effort. I bet if u were a 1700 you would love the fact that only 1700 players could play |

The fact that 1700+ get an extra shot is pretty stupid. If you have that high of a rating, it's obvious you've put in the time to get better than alot of other magic-league'ers. That's your advantage and that is your reward. You are better.
The fact that you make your own little trial so you don't lose to someone with a lower rating is pretty weak. Grow some balls asap. |

| you ppl just dont get it. You are all just selfish little bastards. Theres a reason that the Pro Tour isnt open to just everyone with a magic deck. The ppl have earned their way into it and it is the same here. These ppl deserve to get an extra chance. Stop bitching and just play in the trial tomorrow. Is it that hard? Get over yourselves. Maybe you should grow some balls and just accept that u suk. |

| First of all, this isn't the pro-tour, so enough with the hissy fits. Personally, i admit that i suck, i just got back into magic after a long hiatus and a couple of months of sporadic play does not a top-tier player make. But at least I'm logical. Are PTQ's only open to people with a specified rating in the format (I honestly do not know this). Not that it matters since this ISN'T THE WOTC PRO TOUR. But if anyone with a legal deck and cash can play in PTQ's i'm not even sure what the point is of such an illogical claim. |

Wouldn't the Invitational be like the pro tour and say, the trials be like Grand Prixs? Therefor everyone could play regardless of rating.
Apparently leetmagicman has a constructed rating of 1511 and a limited rating of 1589, wow, thats really bad, guess you suck by the good players standards, but im glad you at least accept you suck. |
