| Mainly because of a turn 2 vortex or another 3 cc card, its helpful even though it may not be expected. Same goes for seismic assault. if u have a gratuitous violence or two out it can devastating in the late game. |

| I'd suggest bloodstained mire's to help you build up thresh, and Barbarian Rings to help you use thresh and maintain it while you're eating your yard with Grim Lavamancer. I'd strongly suggest ditching Gratuitious Violence, it's a 5cc spell that only works for your creatures. Also ditch Rorix out of the board as well for the fact that it's a 6cc spell. |

It looks like you're torn between going all-in with your burn spells, and mediating them with Grim Lavamancers, and decided to take a little bit of each. It's a better idea to pick one way and stick with it. If you insist on playing Grim Lavamancer, play all 8 fetchlands, but I wouldn't play Lotus Petal or Mogg Fanatic. Strictly speaking, they just don't bring in enough damage.
26 mana sources means you're going to have less threats to draw than a traditional Burn deck. The most recent performing builds have played no more than 20-22, and some have even played as little as 18 mana sources.
I should discard Gratuitious Violence immediately, because it's a 5 mana spell for 0 damage. If you can wrangle it, I'd try Incinerate, Chain Lightning, and Flame Rift for cost-efficient damage spells. |

4 Char
0 Fireblast
Dubious.
Playable burn spells you aren't running:
Lava Spike
Chain Lightning
Incinerate
Volcanic Hammer
Seal of Fire
Flamebreak
I would run any of those over Violence, Fanatic, Browbeat and Assault for sure. Maybe Vortex as well. |

2 Browbeat
That was my old version, I think. |
