| I don't think this is appropriate at all. Take your temper elsewhere. |

| It's time management and exists in real magic too. If you're up one game and the round is almost over, you sometimes have to play to not lose even if that means you have no way of winning that game. M-L can't afford to have draws in mini's so the life rule is a consequence of that. You just have to learn to adapt to the rules. |

| Wow, why do new people like you ALWAYS seem to whine about the time limit issues? EVERYONE runs into them and most of them deal with it without making themselves look like a fool on the forums. Take a page out of their book. |

time managment does indeed exsist in magic. the only difference is that we dont give out byes. its the best alternative to single elim matches. there really isnt anything better. 5 turns? 5 turns can take forever and cant be monitored by anyone outside the game. both players can either ignore the 5 turns and keep playing, or those 5 turns can take FOREVER! sudden death? sure ill shock u when i get priority gg.
its the best method, so just learn how to play faster and stop whining. |

shot clock > all.
It all seems to even out over time, sometimes I lose to BS like I sweep the board and have 7 cards in hand then opponent rips a helix and wins by 2 life on time. Then like a week later an opponent will take too long creating Ghazi tokens during my EOT and time runs out before he untaps and swings for the win. Then of course they will go cry at all the usual locations because it is gay to lose a match you actually would have won. Oh well. |
