i think a aggro version of oppostion with wild mongrels and stuff liek basking rootwallas and stuff liek that i thik it could be good but it becomes a lot worse now that vial is banned.

7th Edition doesn't rotate out. =/

I don't think it's viable, though.

Oh, yeah. I completely forgot about that! Isn't my face red Embarassed Well, then...

But you're right. I don't think it'll be viable either.

Although...you do get Utopia Tree, BoP, Llanowar elves...hmm. It would have to really have some go power...

u really dont need utopia tree. just look at some of the lists form old t2 with 7th. squirrel opps was pretty good back then. i would say that kiki-opposition is good which is wat i was working on but the deck is impossible to play without vial.

--perhaps something like this?:

2xsaproling genesis
4xbirds or paradise
3xllanowar elves
4xtroll ascetic
2xmeloku,clouded miror
4xsakura tribe elder
4xwood elves

4xopposition
3xstatic orb
4xtelling time
3xsword of fire and ice

4xyavimaya coast
14xforest
5xisland
1xcity of brass

just a rough idea of what I have in mind.

its looking promising if u ask me, I'm just gonna do a follow up on christpunchr's deck. I have no idea what saproling genesis is, same goes for telling time, so I have no choice but to cut them out... sorry

4 Opposition
3 Static Orb
3 Beacon of Creation
4 Kodama's Reach
2 Meloku the Clouded Mirror
3 Sensei's Divining Top
4 Wood Elves
4 Sakura-Tribe Elder
4 Birds of Paradise
3 Living Wish
3 Sword of Fire and Ice
1 City of Brass
4 Island
14 Forest
4 Yavimaya Coast
SB: 1 Iwamori of the Open Fist
SB: 1 Eternal Witness
SB: 1 Viridian Shaman
SB: 3 Wrath of Marit Lage
SB: 3 Defense Grid
SB: 1 Tendo Ice Bridge
SB: 3 Seedtime
SB: 1 Meloku, The Clouded Mirror
SB: 1 Dosan the Falling Leaf

ok here it is, the sideboard is mostly versus control(and is just makeshift, definitely needs work) , although another way would be to board more iwamoris and some troll ascetics and make it aggro vs control i guess only testing will tell

snakeopps is the best deck obviously. cause you play with Sosukes Summons, and a bunch of snakes, and you just end up with a buttload of creatures. Mystic Snake is amazing, and you get the sak-my-tribe elders to work even better. birds go in there, and Beacon of green too. maybe a squirrel nest or two and then parralel evolution to just get insane. but thats just me. I am going to have to disagree with snake oppo
we should be more conserned with not being shut down by needles. Also I think saproling symbiosis is gravy, but in retrospect beacon could be better I will make an updated version with wishes and stuff.

im gonna agree with christpunchr, snakes looks kinda funky, ill try making it tomorrow, just a rough draft to see how it looks, pitihng needle is really looking like trouble. maybe we should try another way, right now were pouring all our efforts into wining by lockdown with opposition, how about we try going opposition/beats opposition will control just enough to get in the last damage we need. its important we look at every aspect.

btw christpunchr thanks for the support, all u guys too

I think perhaps a improvement on my ver might be:
4 birds
4 llanowar elves
4 wood elves
4 sakura tribe elders
1 meloku,clouded miror
4 troll ascetic
3 ravenous baloth

3 beacon of creation
4 opposition
2 fact or fiction
4 living wish

4 yavimaya coast
3 island
16 forest

I also have this idea:

4 erayo
4 ornithopter
4 frogmite
3 myr enforcer
4 archbound ravenger
4 archbound worker
4 ninja of deep hours(ophidian-ninja,right?)

4 thoughtcast
4 genesis chamber
4 opposition

and then I hit a block because I realize this deck f*cking screams for skullclamp = \

either way there is a modified build of oppo that allows for some versitillity between aggro etc, however I don't think living wishes would be enough for the omnipresent pithing needle(good thing I already have a mbc deck made for 1.x).
The biggest problem I think will plague the deck is not being able to get the oppo running when gobbos are savagely penetrating it's every oriface, also engineered plague etc for insects will hurt like hell. The deck needs to cover it's ass like crazy in the sb.
This is just an idea but...
4xannul 2xstatic orb 2xgenesis 2xviridian zealot 1xveridian shaman 1xravenous baloth 3xsword of fire and ice
I dunno,GU oppo is gonna take alot of work to get running.
