Ok.
I am OceanOnFire. One of the loving judges, in magic-league.
Friday, March 17, at 3 pm(U.S.Eastern Time Zone = 21:00 CET). I will be hosting a Pre-skullclamp ban old t2 No Max tournament.
Legal Sets:
The Entire Onslaught Block.
8th, AS IN, Eighth Edition.
Mirrodin-Darksteel
5th Dawn, AS IN, Fifth Dawn, IS NOT,NOT,NOT, allowed.
It will be listed as Other' as the rating catagory.
Here are some decks to think about
Goblins
uw control
affinity
elf and nail
tooth and nail
GB gravepact
Have Fun.(Only under extreme circumstances will this not be held.)

As for not allowing FD I can only assume you think Pithing Needle will ruin your fun with Skullclamp. This might as well be called who can rip a Clamp first T2 or who wins the dice roll wins the match T2. |

Obv not. Elf & Nail destroyed ravager 9 times out of 10. And goblins had good game vs ravager too. The format was actually a lot more balanced before clamp was banned, even though every deck was aggro. |

What's retarded is the fact that Pithing Needle is from Saviors of Kamigawa. So, obviously Pithing Needle would be mad tech in this format.
OceanOnFirex. You should make FD legal.

I suppose you should call this the "BROKAN TOURNAMANT"
Because anyone in their RIGHT mind will obviously run 4 skull clamps, all artifact lands, ravager, cranial, blinkmoth, etc. Unless someone else decides to ran mass artifact destruction, too bad we can't use shattering spree, but we do have blood moon I pray.
[EDIT]
Before skull clamp ban, the worst match up affinity can have is against itself, and even POST skull clamp ban it's the same deal. Congrats on encouraging massive skull clamp abusage. |

That was the most fun t2 i ever played in. even though every deck used skullclamp it was still fun because skullclamp is awesome. And laplie is correct the format was mcuh worst after they banned skullclamp.
And i think it's no fith dawn because then ravager would be able to play cranial plating and then it'll just be insane |

I'm fairly certain Blood Moon will not change them from being artifacts, as it does not change nonbasics from being nonbasic. In fact, I'm pretty positive.
Plus, Affinity will lose to Elf n Nail, and Goblins kind of. |

You mean it was the most broken, not fun. Every deck ran 4 of skull clamp, aggro was God, it was over just like that. That's not fun, I admit I hate this format mainly because there is TOO MUCH REMOVAL, I can't play anything rogue because every deck has an answer to virtually everything, but I hated the old T2 even more, it was broken. |
