Hey guys, I'm new here, and I have a deck I wanted to share with you all. It's seemed to work for me quite well, and tore up R/G Beats in the long game (which it CAN establish)

2 Quicksand
21 Island
4 Ornithopter
4 Shimmering Glasskite
4 Ninja of the Deep Hours
3 Kira, Great Glass-Spinner
4 Imaginary Pet
3 Thunderheads
3 Telling Time
4 Repeal
4 Halcyon Glace
4 Remand

SB:
4 Boomerang
3 Meloku, the Clouded Mirror
4 Rewind
4 Mana Leak

It's still a little rough around the edges, but works fairly well. The Sideboard is to trounce all over combo, and it does just that. PLEASE don't be an arrogant prick. I just want your opinions and advice. This doesn't look like it will turn into a tournament calibur deck, but it's fun to play and turns heads a little bit. Thanks in advance.

ps. I did NOT create this deck, but I did do the sideboard... any help would be nice, again.

how does the synergy work out with Remand and Thunderheads with imaginary pet? you tend to have those in your hand during your upkeep send pet back to hand, or does that work well with Halcyon Glaze? Looks fun. Needs jitte(since is agro, you gota have a jitte now adays to compete at all*sad face*). Also i would think meloku would be main. when wouldn’t you want a meloku in play?

imaginary pet works WONDERS with Halcyon... and Thunderheads is in there for blockers, but I have yet to have the need to play it. As for why no Meloku main...? I really don't know. Like I said, I didn't make this deck. A buddy of mine showed it to me. I'll tweak it and post the new list then

of course you would add tron i mean after boarding that would allow you to repeal those 9/14 worms everyone plays with right o you could also repeal draco in extended o yahh

in other words you have no need for tron Shocked

Hi.
I had the same idea a couple of weeks ago, and started mono blue like you, but after some playing you'll see the deck isn't fast enough to keep up with the other decks from this metagame.
So I added red.
And I won games, I started winning alot of games.
Here is my list:

//NAME: Fire Tide
SB: 4 Akki Underling
SB: 4 Pithing Needle
SB: 4 Threads of Disloyalty
SB: 3 Threaten
4 Mountain
4 Steam Vents
4 Shivan Reef
10 Island
4 Halcyon Glaze
4 Ninja of the Deep Hours
3 Kira, Great Glass-Spinner
4 Ornithopter
4 Imaginary Pet
4 Frostling
3 Electrolyze
4 Boomerang
4 Char
4 Shock

This is all genuine stuff, I didn't read anything about this or copied any list. This deck is really fun and it can deal with the metagame (except heartbeat... unless I get a great fast start).
I hope my list helps you improve yours, and yours helps to improve mine... Wink

OK, I've been testing my own build of my new dubbed name "Aquarium" and found the following results:

#1: Ornithopter is not worth adding just for Ninja. Seriously...

#2: Very often you will find Electrolyze in your hand and curse it. Replace with Volcanic Hammer.

#3: Kira, Great Glass-Spinner is a 4x. She is truly, truly amazing.

#4: Imaginary Pet is great against aggro, good for Glaze, and in my build, good for Cohort.

#5: Izzet Guildmage is sexy as hell. A solid 2/2 for 2, with a Hammer/Shock multiplying ability to boot.

#6: Threaten is a bomb against Gruul Aggro, particularly stealing Rumbling Slum. It is also fairly helpful against decks with biggies.

More to come.....

ornithopter is essentially worthless, heh...

You can only use it for Ninja, and its not worth it. Really.
