|
|
| My usual fare is a UR Lando but where I play for t2 tourny's the "house rule" is that no control/lando decks are to be played. I still won first place since as I was new to this store they didnt kick me out. Now... is this actually something the DCI lets stores that run FNM do? I thought it was absolute .pile so I ran Urza up there ass last week. If this isn't "legal" who should I tattle on them to so I can play the deck I freaking want to play? |

| Find a different store to play FNM... As long as is it is DCI sanctioned, a store cannot prohibit you to play anything that is T2 Legal. |

| Yeah a store can't pull the "house rules" jank on sanctioned tourneys. Some store around here was trying to have a scrub friendly FNM where you couldn't play old versions of cards that were reprinted (for example you could play an AN-Kird Ape even though it's reprinted). This let all the scrubs who only bought 9th edition have a shot. Then someone snitched them to the DCI and they don't do that anymore. |

I'd just email them asking if a store can do that and what the penalty might be if they continue, then print that out and take it up there with your deck next friday night. How the hell do they determine what a control deck is anyways. "Hey he is tapping my permenants with his Glare!!! Ban Him!!!" |

before you do anything you might want to first find out if they are sanctioned, cuz if they are not then the DCI cant do a thing about it |

| I'd ask whoever runs the tournament. It could be either a huge misunderstanding or a bunch of bullshit. You're basically left with 2 options. Deal with it and run the beats, OR e-mail DCI and let them know. Just to let you know, the DCI may stop letting that store have sanctioned tournies because of this. |
