I'd like to start a topic where people post cards they think are under-rated and under-used in t2.

I'll start off with silhana ledgewalker, dryad sophisticate has been getting all the photo-shoots and movie offers, but i cant see how it's better than the ledgewalker. ive been testing a deck i am unready to reveal at the moment, but equiped with the jitte goes right for the jugular of decks that cant kill it. my opponents even wrath when its the only thing in play if they have seen what it can do, sure ledgewalker is almost unblockable at the moment, but that doesn't stop it dying horribly and the hands of most decks.

No stupid flaming but critisism is fine, these don't have to be new cards either, if you think sink into takenuma is awesome 4th turn hand emptying in a mono black deck, tell people!

i've seen more of it lately, but you rarely see Quash being played... i personally like it alot for blue... its a hard counter that gets rid of every cranial in the deck when they cast it one time, or whatever albeit

its not being played because there isnt a dominate sourcery or instant right now, like TnN. the closest thing is ideal and that isnt played enough to be heavily hated

quash should definitely be played more, there isnt a single deck that doesnt have a spell it would hate to be RFG.

razia's purification strikes me as a powerful card, that isnt used at all. i was in a sealed tournament once with and i had glare and woodwraith corrupter chucking forests across the board, then bang, a few weenies later and it was gg. the only major problem with it is decks prepared for wildfire will be able to defend against it

darkblast certainly is the only 1cc removal out there apart from shock, but with boros deck wins phasing out, and being replaced by zoo, it seems it isnt useful MD. but its does do well vs RDW and WB discard/aggro, so maybe it'll make a come back.

I think the best one of the best mana fixers in t2: orochi leafcaller is seriously underplayed. It pretty much solves all mana problems if you get it out. On a sepperate note I think the DEFINATE best underplayed card in ext is Diabolic Intent... exactly the same as demonic tutor exept you need to sac a creature. It's a planeshift rare so is legal in extended but NOBODY (exept me Razz) seems to play it.

orochi leafcaller seems good, but it doesnt provide accel and is unreliable. by that i mean if you draw it and have lots of green mana available and a deck built around alot of colours, then you're laughing (assuming it doesnt die). but if you dont draw it you have cards you cant play, so you will have to have a crazy mana base in case you dont draw it, which defeats the point of having it Shocked

stick to t2, i don't want to get into extended, because i only became interested again recently and i dont think i could memorize that many extra cards Confused

descendant is still awesome, and the leylines are a bit meh, i think flames isnt used very much considering how good a SB card in a mostly red deck it is.
