Another deck I built, and this one is very much based on the Standard deck Zoo...
The List:

Creatures: [ 23 ]
x4 Giant Solifuge
x4 Burning-Tree Shaman
x4 Watchwolf
x3 Dark Confidant
x4 Dryad Sophisticate
x4 Birds of Paradise

Other: [ 14 ]
x3 Moldervine Cloak
x4 Char
x4 Lightning Helix
x3 Glare of Subdual

Land: [ 23 ]
x4 Stomping Ground
x4 Temple Garden
x3 Sacred Foundry
x3 Overgrown Tomb
x1 Plains
x5 Forest
x3 Mountain

Sideboard: [ 15 ]
x4 Seed Spark
x4 Ghostway
x4 Faith's Fetters
x3 Last Gasp

A pretty straight-forward deck, drop creatures, attack, and use combat tricks to finish the job.

The sideboard is mainly put together to combat control decks...To deal with cards like Plague Boiler, Brightflame, and Debtors' Knell, as well as other things.

The Glare of Subdual is the only card I'm not totally sure of...Perhaps it'd be better to replace it with Putrefy or Mortify?

The only noticable downside to this deck, is it's total lack of one-drops (with the exception of BoP), but what it lacks there, it makes up for in cost-efficient creatures higher on the curve.

I'd like your input on how to make the deck better, and possible changes to the deck...Thnx

i tried a deck like this pre gp, if you dont get mana screwed or killed by the confidant, the deck turns out to be a slightly above average aggro deck, its not worth it im afraid.

This deck is seriously lacking consistency. It's going to lose a lot of non-competitive games to poor draws.

My bad, I didn't think I could post as Guest. Anyways... seriously, the only black card in the deck is confidant. You're going to throw away X% of games to screw because you're playing four colors, Y% of games because of Confidant damage, and the trade-off is a good card. You should just play a different good card, imo.

edit: Loxodon Hierarch, Rumbling Slum, Selesnya Guildmage... I know they're not the pinnacle of aggression, but they're all amazing cards.

Yeah, I gotta say it looks like you'll kill yourself as often as your opponent does. That's not a good way to start out. I mean you have 21 ways to hurt yourself in this deck and only 4 ways to gain life. A deck with char and helix in it wouldnt even need to attack you half the time. Just saying.

people overvalue the dual lands so much when building a manabase. You're going to have to take 2 so many times with this deck that you can't even support the card you splashed for. Also, if you're going to go into a 4th color for a card, run the full set, especially if it's as good as Dark Confidant.

It just isn't going to be worth it to leave 2 colors in aggro, possibly splashing a 3rd. You can't afford to play lands tapped, but you also can't afford to start the game at 16 or 14 life.

every one who says the deck isnt' that good (lakeos and raging_hobo) is seriously lacking in intelegence. I've got a Rav block deck that looks similar that i've been testing with several of the magic-League judges and some people on Mtgo. The deck is very consistant, the mana base of mine is VERY solid, and i've never had Dark Confidant kill me.

4 Stomping Ground
3 Godless Shrine
2 Forest
4 Sacred Foundry
4 Temple Garden
4 Overgrown Tomb
// Creatures
4 Vinelasher Kudzu
3 Skyknight Legionnaire
4 Watchwolf
4 Elves of Deep Shadow
4 Burning-Tree Shaman
3 Birds of Paradise
3 Gruul Guildmage
4 Dark Confidant
// Spells

4 Lightning Helix
3 Char
3 Moldervine Cloak

// Sideboard
4 Giant Solifuge
3 Loxodon Hierarch
4 Dryad Sophisticate
4 Ghostway

But like Guest said, you start the game very low, you can usually count you life total by how many duals you have in play. But you can totally afford to, since most ppl play 3 color control.

ShaunD, the problem with your deck is that any advantage you would gain against another aggro deck with Dark Confidant's card advantage is completely offset by the fact that almost all of your lands will cipt or shock you. That many duals is very bad.

playing 19 shock lands is generally a bad idea but in block is it isnt a quickest format so you play a land tapped or even pay 2 life...but after testing 19 shock lands are to many

Char and cloak are going to be huge cards in block..char kills pretty much anything in block besides slum and cloak makes any creature in your deck a beat stick...they are both good good cards....

anyways getting back to the deck,i belive you should take out the black and add in either Loxodon Hierarch, Rumbling Slum, or Selesnya Guildmage just like what Lackeos said. i belive that the guildmage would be the better choice because it reasonably good in a agrro deck..i have also tested the gruul guildmage ..hes not bad either..hes worth checking out for sure
