Damping matrix is my suggestion vs aggro

Holds them back a bit, and time is what you need.

There is no really good answer for aggro, but possibilities to look at are: storage matrix, meishen mind cage, pyroclasm, blood moon.

pyroclasm and evacuation are your best choices, honestly owls worst matchup is aggro imo =/

... and with that you should have the basic stall in your main deck, eye of nowhere, boomerang, and exhaustion

What den18 is refering to is that several recent winning blue decks have sideboarded Imaginary Pet to defend against the onslaught of aggro. Basicly you play imaginary pet on your turn, it stays in play durring opponents turn so you can block with a cheap 4/4, then at the beginning of your upkeep you return it to your hand.

Imaginary Pet is a 4/4 for 1U. He comes back to your hand during your upkeep if you have a card in hand.

So, for 1U a turn, you can stave off a lot of aggro (until they Char it).

I vote for a transformational SB, 2 meloku, 4 rewinds, 4 hinders, 1 pithing needle, and 4 chars or something...

They'll think they are cute mulling down to 5 or so, but all you'll be really playing is counter burn. Then they get rocked, I think it's a good idea.

who ever does the mull stragity is really stupid, it is really easy for control to just counter/kill the owls and for aggro to out race owl because of all the new creatures it will be getting

ive been trying ivory crane netsuke where if you have 7 cards in hand gain 4 life. thats permanent life gain that is
key vs aggro as well as pyroclasm, evacuation and imaginary pet it seems to do extremely well vs aggro the reason the ivory crane seems to do well for me is some versions run 4 cerebral vortex main so i always wind up having 7 cards in hand yea every once in a while u lose 2 life i actually found i may cut the cerebral vortex to run compulsive research or tidings to ensure that i always have a full hand without the 2 life loss at eot for vortex, since sometimes they may get rid of the howling mines/kami of the crescent moon I also run mizzium transreliquant (t2 cloning sculpting steel) which allows me to clone an owl or crane or mine. its all up to you guys tho. please dont flame my ideas before you try them im just giving my suggestions

You can't beat Aggro at all, you can beat the RG beats decks occasionally if you get a god draw and they get a slow start.
