Magic-League T-Shirt Design Contest!!!

Hi WC and I are working on a Magic-Leauge T-Shirt.

Problem is they look a little plain. Please submit yours ideas to ircAyameChan@gmail.com

Rules:
Magic-League.com MUST STAND OUT.
Keep in mind that the cost of printing the design will be reflected in the final price of the shirt. Don't go overboard.
Entries are open till March 10th, 2006. Winner will be contacted by me when the desission has been made.

Koen has suggested Navy blue shirt with Yellow(gold) lettering.

Here's my entry. To design it I used mostly Photoshop, though I also used GIMP and PaintShopPro for particular details I disliked and fixed. I kept the colors simple to be easily printable, and it's ideal for one-size-fits-all, as it might not convert that nicely to different sizes. I'm an amateur t-shirt designer, and if this entry isn't good enough, I can make more--I'm quite good at this.

WOW that is really close to the original design. just put the logo on the pocket and i would swear you stole our first run.

I don't know how to do this, but it seems like a good idea

Have a pentagram (symbol of magic) and at each point have one of the mana symbols, forest, skull, sun, fireball ect... all on a black or dark colored backround would look pretty cool, you could probly slap the Magic league logo anywhere too.

Since they plan to sell them, it would be a good idea to avoid using copyrighted material.

how about this. a picture, animated or real, of a fat kid at his computer, cheeto-fingered, cheeto bag in his lap, glued to the screen in anticipation/exitement/involvement. then there's a couple options.
1. above picture, "pwned!", below, "www.magic-league.com"
2. just big bold "pwned!" under the picture with "www.magic-league.com" on the back
3. just "www.magic-league.com" with "pwned!" on the back.

anyway you go about it, I like the term pwned. I think anyone familiar will get the joke. I also think the joke (any joke) should be key, with "www.magic-league.com" in smaller print. not to downgrade the importance of the website, i just think more people would buy/wear the shirt if the focus was on the funny.
