Hi everyone,

I won last game with:

Quote:
Bottle in the Sea 2B
Instant R
Search your library for a nonland card and exile it face down. Then shuffle your library.
If an opponent casts a spell with the same converted mana cost as the exiled card, you may play it without paying it's mana cost.
If you find this bottle, it may lead to a treasure.

Could you please create a card that would either:
- Create a mini game like Shahrazad
- Create a surprise for the players
- Create a mind game

I will judge with criteria like:
- Printability
- Simplicity
- Creativity
- Competitivity

Vampinger's Box.....B
Enchantment...........R

At the beginning of each end step, put an age counter on Vampinger's box.

Sacrifice Vampinger's Box, Flip a coin: If the flip comes up heads, put a 1/1 black Bat creature token with flying onto the battlefield for each counter on Vampinger's Box. Otherwise, put a 1/1 black Skeleton creature token with deathtouch onto the battlefield for each counter on Vampinger's Box.

Until the box is opened, the creatures in the box are simulteneously alive and dead.

Skill Check
U
Instant
Rare

Roll a Twenty sided die and apply the effects below depending on your roll.

If the roll is above 10, counter target spell, and if you roll exactly a 20, take an extra turn after this one in addition to its other effects.

If the roll is 10 or below, this spell does nothing, and if you roll exactly a 1, instead skip your next turn and lose 10 life.

Sometimes you just have to hope that luck doesn't run out for you.

I think some of the most interesting minigame type cards are the "draft matters" cards from Conspiracy. They did a great job with them, but there's still some design space they didn't cover.

Cogwork Thief - 3

Artifact Creature - Construct - Rare

Reveal Cogwork Thief when you draft it.

The next card taken out of this booster pack must be given to you.

Whenever Cogwork Thief deals combat damage to a player, that player puts the top card of his or her library into his or her graveyard.

3/2

The person you are passing to obviously knows about the Thief before they make their pick, so it creates a fun little game where they have to figure out what card in the pack would be the worst for you, and if they were paying attention they might even know what colors you're in. It also hurts them because they are essentially losing a pick, which might make them seek vengeance later during the multiplayer game.

Game of Chess 3U
Enchantment rare

Choose target opponent. Whenever that opponent plays a spell you may play a spell you have in your hand equal to the spells converted mana cost without paying its mana cost.

Correct that's why I used "You" it describes active player that controls the permanent.
Edit:
I fixed the confusion by having you choose the opponent

I like it very much. Very. But I don't find it perfect!
I don't like the name. Unpredictable box or something like that, if you create Skeleton, why Vampinger? Skeleton + Deathtouch?

I like this one a lot, it feels really U/R. Posted after Stucco's idea, it feels less orginal but may be more playable. But it feels really hard to hack it and cost too much Sad

Printable, simple, competitive. Yes, yes, yes.

The card doesn't speak to me a lot. I see the potential but it's really specialised.

Make it for everyone or make it with a higher cost! CC = 6 or more imo.
That said, verry interesting effect.
