A group of adventurers has received the task from a dragon to retrieve something. That something is "at the white stones along the big river".

Create the object the adventurer's will find when they reach said white stones along the river.

Now that the whole Sorin / Lithomancer / Ugin story comes back to life, here is my submission. Please regard the colorless flavour for Ugin. http://mtgsalvation.gamepedia.com/Ugin

The horns uf Ugin [2]
Legendary Artifact [rare]
T: Add 1 to your mana pool.
T, sacrifice X lands: Put a colorless nonland permanent card with converted mana cost X from your hand onto the battlefield.
The dragon did not tell them what they were looking for at the white stones near the big river. Realizing what they held in their hands made many of them flee because of the tales their elders told them about Ugin, the Spirit Dragon.

"Among the white stones along the river, there was a special roller, his color seemed to change because of what moved inside: it was an egg! A dragon egg!"

Sacrifice Balls of Bolas: Creatures you control gain deathtouch and lifelink until end of turn. Put a +1/+1 counter on each creature you control.

I got a stroke of creativity for this card.

Keeper of the Ancient Oath 1GUW

Legendary Creature- Treefolk Cleric (M)

Hexproof; Defender; Reach

When Keeper of the Ancient Oath enters the battlefield or blocks, search your library for a creature card. Exile that card, then shuffle your library.

T, Exile three creatures you control: Return a creature card exiled with Keeper of the Ancient Oath to the battlefield tapped.

After anticipating our arrival for eons, his purpose would be served within a few moments.

0/5

The art would be like a treefolk dude with his trunk unfolding, revealing a portal from the perspective of the adventurers. Maybe even some kind of sweet critter crawling out of the root work, but that might be too indirect without an actual portal.

A group of adventurers has received the task from a dragon to retrieve something. That something is "at the white stones along the big river".

Create the object the adventurer's will find when they reach said white stones along the river.

Soundgarden: The horns uf Ugin
What I like in this card: It produces mana, that's power. Dragons seek for power. It's something a powerful dragon previously inherited. It has history.
What I dislike in this card: Maybe too much/long flavortext

Castamere: Chainmail of Twilight
What I like in this card: Possibly a powerful artifact for a human
What I dislike in this card: I don't see where this thing has much use for a dragon. It wouldnt fit the dragon!

Thelemys: Fire Dragon Egg
What I like in this card: Cool one-mana drop
What I dislike in this card: Eggs hatch. This Egg never hatches.

iSperia: Verdict Scroll
What I like in this card: Powerful object, the dragon might want to protect the wisdom in it from malicious use; or the dragon might want to abuse it for his own power
What I dislike: The Teferi reference

AxiomBlurr: Dragua Charm
What I like in this card: A reason why the dragon doesn't simply fetch said item by himself: He'll need the work from others to activate it
What I dislike in this card: #

Stucco: Ugin's Essence
What I like in this card: An object doesn't have to be an artifact. It can be anything, like here the knowledge about a spell floating around?
What I dislike in this card: How do you handle the third of the three Eldrazi?

mass0ass: Fire of Tarkir
What I like in this card: Power, unlimited power, advantaging the masses..
What I dislike in this card: Power, unlimited power, advantaging the masses... instead of the dragon!

IvanDano: Golden Amulet of Avarice
What I like in this card: Strong effect providing knowledge and raw power to the one in control of it
What I dislike in this card: Unbalanced manacost

Dr_Moo: Piercing Lance
What I like in this card: very balanced manacost/effect
What I dislike in this card: No reference to dragons, protection from white will basically make "knights block equipped.." useless

wolfman2nast: Keeper of the Ancient Oath
What I like in this card: It is waiting to be explored/discovered. Finding it will be destiny. Sounds like an adventure!
What I dislike in this card: The adventurers will find it and it will do its thing: bring something from exile. Everybody dead, nothing is returned to the dragon who tasked the adventurers.

My final two:
AxiomBlurr: Dragua Charm
Soundgarden: The Horns of Ugin

So, who wins?

Both of you!

Whoever posts the next challenge first has it earned.
