Thanks for the quick turnaround on the judging Candace, more people should follow your example.

Let's see, let's see..... what to do this time around....

Create a mana producing permanent. The less wordy and complex the better. Try to make it playable in the Standard environment in regards to flavour and power level. Feel free to make it fit Return to Ravnica as well.

I will be using my patented A-F grading system (patent pending) and I judge based on feel. So make me feel alive people or the F hammers gonna be pounding some dreams.

Sometimes you want to drop a land each turn (Landfall?)
Sometimes you can untap an Artifact (combo)?
Sometimes you need lot of fast Artifacts in play (affinity, metalcraft)?
Sometimes your lands love to get in to play (Teetering Peaks)?
So please... think about it before judging in place of Jacois.

Put a 3/2 black Horror token with flying into the battlefield and you lose 1 life. This creature has "Tap, sacrifice a Horror: Add BBBBB to your mana pool."

I know you wanted a creature, and this easily could be made into a creature, but I think it is better flavor wise and is less abuseable as just a sorcery that makes a creature token.

Edit to fix it up a bit, make the wording correct (I hope) and put flavor text on.
