10 Swamp
4 Woodland Cemetery
4 Isolated Chapel
4 Cavern of Souls
1 Vault of the Archangel

1 Hex Parasite
1 Fume Spitter
4 Gravecrawler
4 Perilous Myr
4 Blood Artist
4 Geralf's Messenger
2 Phyrexian Metamorph
2 Phyrexian Obliterator
2 Skinrender
1 Precursor Golem
1 Bloodgift Demon
1 Vengeful Pharaoh
2 Massacre Wurm

1 Mortarpod
1 Nim Deathmantle
1 Mimic Vat
2 Birthing Pod
3 Liliana of the Veil

Sideboard:
3 Ratchet Bomb
2 Doom Blade
3 Nihil Spellbomb
3 Sever the Bloodline
1 Black Sun's Zenith
3 Corrosive Gale

So far iv had really good luck with this deck. Nim Deathmantle and the higher casting cards are of course useless early game, but come in with a bang mid to late game. Im divided over trying to add extra low cost alternatives. Massacre ends things quickly once it drops, but with no mana accel it typical doesnt happen before turn 8Sad
What do you think?

Look up pod zombies in T2, that's basically what you have right there.

I agree with Selkie.

But for some suggestions to the deck you posted: Killing wave is great when you have alot of creatures on board and then cast it as a finisher, you basically kill their creatures, because they won't want to pay the life and you kill your creatures, most of which come back with undying and recursion and you gain a ton of life while dealing a crap ton of damage to your opponent.

Mortapod is also good, turning this 2 mana activation cost into a 3 point life swing with each activation seems alot better than without Artist in the deck.

Any card that gives multiple creatures, ie: Gather the townsfolk, Lingering Souls, Midnight Haunting, Sorin, Elspeth, Grave titan, ect.

I really like a B/w Zombie Token deck, of which tcgplayer.com had videos of acouple weeks prior to the release of Restored, but it had some suggestions in the article of what would be added when restored entered the format.

It seems to me you should play more lands. 23 seems little to me, and you play alot of big stuf. I don't like bloodgift demon (to little for 5 mana), vengeful Pharaoh, or nim deathmantle. I'm missing grave titan and the black praetor!

I appreciate your help, but i disagree with the majority of your opinions.

ill agree with that, in some situations its awesome. But as for the current meta: iv found bomb/gale/bsz to be superior. I have added extra gales to my sideboard and run one mainboard. Killing my own creatures off may do a little damage..and i do have some recursion, but being able to swing with large numbers of creatures after i killed their blockers off often does just as much damage...and much more if you consider the following rounds. I dont need a spell to kill of my creatures if i really want to, i can just block.

Sad to say im not aware of any decent black cards that are cost effective for that. Moan of the unhallowed is pretty much as good as it gets, and for 4 mana there really isnt a situation where id rather use it than an oblit or skin render. The grave titan just comes into play to late to be relevant.
The deck would need a complete overhaul if i was to add the white mana needed for good reliable creature generation. In the process the messengers and oblits would become a casualty, something im not prepared to do.

23 land is a bit lower than i normally play with fatties. But the mana curve is pretty low in this deck: only 5 cards require more than 4, and 4 require 4.

I don't like... nim deathmantle

Nim deathmantle is a beast in the late game, believe it or not. Especially vs control. But regardless i have replaced it with a corrosive gale main deck as late game power is fairly moot in this deck.

Im not a huge fan of the pharaoh either, but they are still 5 power swingers for 5 mana. There really is no better alternative aside maybe a banshee(which can be worse in many situations) for the 5 mana slot. Basically they force your opponent to use removal or take massive damage/breed into a massacre wurm.

Massacre wurms end games immediatly. Sheoldred is unnecessary . If you couldnt win by the time your praetor drops, it likely wont do any more good than any other creature in the deck. Same as for the grave titan. Both of these are subpar for this deck when compared to the massacre wurm.
