Just a deck Im starting to get excited about. Ive been testing it alot lately vs my friends and I think it might be ready for competitive play. I figure I would post it and see what anyone thinks.
Oh and if you going to make a suggestion please dont let it be about my manabase. I know it could be a little better but I dont feel like investing in Stomping Grounds. Im just going to roll with this for awile. |

Spark Elemental seems really weak in a deck with 6 spells at 4cmc, especially since it's really just a Lava Spike that can be blocked. Elemental also can't rebuy Chandra's Phoenix.
I won't tell you to buy Stomping Grounds, but basic lands would be better than 4x Raging Ravine IMO. |

4x raging ravines do seem overkill, especially since you're hoping to roll out on curve every turn. Having 1 of 4 lands come into play tapped could mean you losing your window.
I know grove is a decent land for double colour purposes but... it seems really counterproductive with your "aggro" deck. For example, using it 3 times effectly voids your 3 dmg from a spark elemental => -1 card advantage for nothing.
I don't really like the spark elemental either, but I see that you're trying to hit creatures as much as possible to trigger vengevines coming back. My friend has a cute deck that runs 4x vengevines with bloodbraids, so it takes full advantage of 4x faithless looting.
Imagine this:
turn 1: land, birds of paradise (bad to be bloodbraided with, but I can't convince him otherwise)
turn 2: land, faithless looting - discard 2 vengevines
turn 3: land, bloodbraid into hellspark elemental which brings back 2 vengevines. Swing for 14. !
Anyway, have you considered boggart ramgang? Noone wants to block that guy =\ |

Yes exactly why Im running spark elemetals is for the vengevine.
Ya I understand the argument for basic lands over the ravines. But I just like them alot. It seems im constantly using them. Truly Im having no problem with my mana base right now and I would like to keep it that way.
Boggart ram gang is cool, my typical turn three is usually bolt blocker and attack with my 2-3creatures. Maybe ill swap out the pheonix for a ram gang. |

| Get another Vengevine for the singleton Chandra's Phoenix. Or at least something for Chandra's Phoenix, when you're only playing 8 spells that get it back it's not very good. Giant Solifuge/Boggart Ram-Gang both seem like OK choices. |
