Just read Tooth and Nail and Elvish Piper.

Do they say "play" or "put into play"?

Phage will kill you if you "put [her] into play".

So Elvish Piper and Tooth and Nail will kill you.

In other words, you must pay Phage's mana cost and put HER personally on the stack (not Elvish Piper's ability on the stack and not Tooth and Nail on the stack), to stay alive.

thats a t2 deck.... when you add the search lands and the moenets pease... extera... the deck becomes much better...
