| Goodman's list is the best, and yes, the deck is very good in extended. |

| ichorid made up some of goodmans losses during the swiss (was there) and he lost to affinity in top 4. Affinity has less disruption than ichorid and ichorid can be as aggressive at affinity. anything like mindslaver that costs 10 mana is not good against the most aggressive deck in the format. Alot of the ichorid lists had coffin purge either in the board or maindeck which makes moments peace significantly worse. I can't see a tooth and nail player being to happy about playing against ichorid |

Well, Ichorid needs a turn 5 win most of the time to beat tooth; on modo tooth has been beating ichorid more than it has been losing to it. |

Here is my version. It does ok,need more play time with it.
9 Forests
2 Swamps
1 LLanowar Wastes
1 Boseiju
4 Each of the Urzas
Creatures
3 Eternal Witness
4 STE
1 Plated Slagworm
1 Darksteel Colossus
1 Akroma
1 Kiki-Jiki
1 Duplicant
1 Sundering Titan
1 Platinum Angel
2 Viridian Shaman
Other Artifacts and Enchantments
1 Mindslaver
4 Chrome Mox(A must)
4 Pernicious Deed
Spells
4 Tooth & Nail
3 Plow Under
1 Cranial Extraction
3 Sylvan Scrying
3 Reap and Sow
Extraction could come out in place of another Witness or Plow Under. It is just fun seeing their faces when you drop Deed or Extraction. Even playing the first swamp and their eyes get all wide. |

Sensei's Divinging Top > Ichorid. Nuff said.
EDIT:
BTW Affinity has MORE disruption than Ichorid. Not only does the deck he lost to have 2 Duress and 4 Therapy(postboard); but it also has 3 MD Pithing Needle to take down the hand disruption hoser mentioned above. |

okay...i do loooove tooth and nail thats what i always played when it was in T2 but...in extended i personally don't think it can become a teir 1 deck...oh and slide does put a pretty bad match up against tooth and naill...even though it will have Deed

T&N in extended is decent as of now, consistant, hard to deal with for most decks.
Bad matchup are: Boros(LD), BW aggro(strong disruption).
Tough matchup are aforementioned affinity and ichorid, and goblins.
I played around goodman's list for quite a bit and you'll often be surprised how consistant it can be.
T&N can be tier 1 if the meta is right.. |

I played Tooth and Nail at GP: Charlotte and ran Kyle's exact maindeck from the PTQ win the week earlier. Kyle and myself were the only Tooth decks to make day two if that tells you anything about how strong the build was.
The only reason I wasn't in the top eight is that I had to play Kyle in the mirror match round 13 at table two. Whoever won made top 8 automatically, while the other had to win the next round. He won in three games (3rd game I had turn 4 Titan with backup, but he had the lone Duplicant and more gas to back it up, lol). I, of course, lost the last round to Ichroid played by Thomas LaPille, where he got nutty draws (putting my Ichroid vs. Tooth matches at 2-2 that weekend). Thus, 20th place it was for me...
This deck does insanely well on MODO, and those who discount it are only setting yourself up for failure. I ran a slightly different sideboard than Kyle that is stronger versus counter and hand D control, but slightly weaker vs. Affinity:
4 Plow Under
3 Seedtime
3 Naturalize
1 Moment's Peace
1 Mindslaver
1 Duplicant
1 Sundering Titan
1 Platinum Angel |

The only things it loses when extended rotates next (Omg waht a long time) are Momement's Peace and Fetches. Cool. |

| a guy in my meta tested a homebrew version that did really well, it ran 4 colors and used more control like deeds, and wrath and teerminate. of course this was kinda FNMish. |

You are not playing it from your hand.
You are putting it into play from your hand.
One is good.
The other loses you the game. |
