The idea is you have a huge, mythic wall, inbued with centuries of magic. As a mage, you're standing inside these walls, and while you are, it'll deflect enemy spells from you. The wall itself is so powerfully enchanted that noone can hope to cast spells on it- not even yourself. The redirect damage (which can only come from creatures) idea is that the wall needs to be battered down before creatures can get to you- a mechanical flavor I feel walls are lacking currently. (I HAVE THIS GIANT WALL THAT MOST OF YOUR ARMY WALKS AROUND)

The colors aren't quite in the elf flavor, but they are in the massive awesome enchanted wall flavor- in addition, I had to make the color requirements hard, otherwise, OP.

Prevent all combat damage that would be dealt by creatures blocked with Tripping Rope.

At end of combat, if Tripping Rope blocked, sacrifice it.

Archangel is also an evasive beater that puts you on an insanely short clock. This just stalls the game.

srry chaosworm, but has to be done:


Wall of Rubbler AND GLUE {6}
Artifact Creature- Wall (Rare)
Defender

When a spell or ability targets ~, redirect that spell or ability.
If a creature would deal combat damage to ~, remove that creature from combat and puts a GLUE counter on it instead.
Creatures with GLUE counters dont untap during the untap step.

T: Target spell or ability targets ~ instead.

Defender. Whenever damage is dealt to sun's gate put that many Charge counters on it.

W, remove a charge counter from Suns Gate: Gain 2 Life
U, Remove a charge counter from Sun's Gate: Draw a card then Discard a Card.
B, remove a charge counter from Suns Gate: Each opponent loses 1 life.
R, remove a charge counter from Suns Gate: Sun's Gate Deals 1 damage to target creature.
G, remove a charge counter from Suns Gate: Add one mana of any color to your mana pool.
