I am SO PISSED. I haven't been able to play in a Trial in almost 2 years, and I finally had enough free time today to play in one - and Modern at that (which is exactly what I would have chosen!). But, I couldn't connect to IRC (unable to connect: null), no matter what I did (including un-blocking port 6667). So I had no way of finding my opponent to play, so I was automatically dropped as a no-show.

Is there a channel - like MWSPlay - that I can connect to on MWS, where players meet for trials? I seem to remember there was one, but I have reinstalled MWS since then and I can't remember what it was.

Here's to another 2 years until my next Trial...DAMMIT...

Thanks all,
Kytep

Pick the other server to connect to chat.

Magic-League requires players to be in #magic-league at all times to play in tournaments.

Server doesn't seem to matter; I can't connect. Must be some firewall software on my machine or something. Thanks for the info and the help. Next time I'll make sure I can connect to the chatroom before registering for a tourney.

If 6667 doesn't work, you can try 6668, 6669 and 7000. If you have SSL on your computer, you can also try +6601 and +6697 Smile

I recommend http://chat.mibbit.com

It lets you chat on irc channels(SolidIRC is the server by the way) without getting all the bugs from firewalls you didn't need or want.
