Nothing really beats caw-blade straight up, but at the same time caw-blade doesn't have any overwhelming advantage either. It's just a deck a lot of good players choose because it has a couple of 60%+ MUs and no 40%- MUs if played properly.

The only obvious one with an edge is Splinter Twin beats Valakut. The others are based on how the deck is configured. Cawblade can metagame vs Valakut but then loses an edge vs Tempered Steel, or vice-versa. Valakut can also be built to crush Tempered Steel but then loses some game vs the mirror, Control, and Twin.
