This is the general poll that I'll use to evaluate all the limited formats in history. With this data you'll help the judges running the most liked sealed format every time. Some rules.
-Please specify a reason of your vote below.
-I'm excluding Core Sets and unofficial sealed formats because they are clearly subpar to block sealed formats.
-While evaluating a Limited format, try to evaluate some of those parameters: (feel free to add something else in the replies below)
* Cost Balance (example, if you can play every spell in the curve and the format is not too fast or too slow)
* Color Balance
* Card-to-Card/Interblock Sinergy
* Is almost every 2 color combination (or 3 color, for Multicolored blocks) supported enough to don't say "those colors are really bad"?
* Can you play successfully either Aggro, Control or Midrange? (or at least 2 of those)

Discuss!
Greetings,
Frozen_Fire Smile

i went with kamigawa. The only thing about that format that wasn't excellent was Meloku and Jitte. All the other bombs were fair(ish) and the commons were very good. The removal split of rend flesh and rend spirit made for a nice change. Glacial ray or whatever was also balanced. I just like balanced removal, basically.

I picked lor/mor but i personally love pure eventide, but many would probably like shadowmoor/eventide over it. the reason i picked lor/mor is mainly because it is a very flavorful archtype sealed format, the draft was difficult at times based on if you got good reads off the table, but the sealed was very fun. shadowmoor/eventide or just pure eventide would be my second pick though. and i also liked M11 and M12.

Lor/Mor was my favorite era of magic ever, and my favorite draft format. Tribes MAKE SENSE.
But for sealed, nothing beats Ravnica.

I went kami block, its probably more to do with me just coming into my own as a player at that point and just starting to win big online events, top8 ptqs etc. with exception of jitte which even the most incompetant magic player ever could win with great format a little underpowered makes for better play counting more.

Ravnica Block was clearly the stone cold nuts! You could do all sorts of stuff and had so many ways to go. Thats the real deal!

Shards block and Ravninca block.
Shards block got my vote.

Because its the most skill intensive block i have experience with.

Everyone can open bombs, but not everyone can build a good consistent build based on a good mana base and picking the right colours.

I think this block aproves that skill the most, and devines the good players from the bad players.

The best sealed format is cube, though maybe not on here cause duplicates can make it go wonky. Alpha x 3 Rise x 3 is pretty awesome. But if you're gonna be a stick in the mud, RoE is far and away the best limited format. After that LLL but not LLM, TTT and to a lesser extent TTP and TPF, and basically any combination of Kamigawa are all pretty good. Urza's block is super fun but the balance is pretty terrible. And all of the gold sets suck. They're fun if you get good mana fixing, but they're pretty dreadful if you don't.

I went with Lorwyn because I like the challenge of building by tribe rather than color.
