Thread to discuss anything related for the trial and master scheduled from July 4th to July 17th. Link to it here: http://www.magic-league.com/info/calendar.php

For the next 2 weeks, the following schedule awaits us:

EDIT: minus one Extended and one SOM/MBS/NPH Sealed, those has been replaced by two M12 Sealed trials
6 Standard (1 the Master)
2 M12 Sealed
2 Legacy
1 Extended
1 SOM/MBS/NPH Sealed
1 Make Your Own Standard
1 Random Format Tournament

Our next 2 weeks is packed full of Standard, perfect for testing the new and fresh format post-CawBlade.
As usual we have Monday Sealed and Wednesday Legacy, and a couple Extended for those of you who misses Caw-Blade.
Sunday July 10th we have MYOS, a format where you pick 2 blocks and a core set from 5th Edition onwards and build a deck with those, following both Legacy and Block banned list.
Saturday the 16th is RFT day! Expect the sets to be announced on the website more or less 24 hours before the start time.

That's an awful lot of T2. Still, I'm happy that for once I can be online for a Sealed Trial.

I'd prefer something like Modern or Overextended or maybe Pauper in place of one of the Extended tournaments but whatever looks like an allright schedule.

Well, there're nationals going on, so we NEED standard trials as much as possible. Also, having myos, rft, modern and overextended is a bit of overkill when it comes to 'other' formats. We really need to find a balance between the competitive part of the league and the more "casual" (players of 'other' formats), so I hope this thread might be a good starting point for discussion

As soon as it gets into the gatherer and we have a good patch, it will become legal

Modern/ Overextended is going to happen. So i wouldnt say theyre casual formats at all and id appreaciate if more tourneys of that kind would happen.

-1 Legacy +1 Vintage

there should be at least 1 Vintage tourny every 2 weeks....especially since were playing with an unlimited card pool that costs us nothing...and id love to see a vintage trial in the near future as well
