I am thinking about playing a UG Cobra Tempo deck.

I was just wondering if any one out there has noticed that this turns off the top three decks right now.

Torpor Orb> Squadron Hawk
Torpor Orb> Stoneforger Mystic
Torpor Orb> Deceiver Exarch
Torpor Orb> Primeval Titan

So with this understanding, how many would you play in your 75?

How many main? How many side?

Would four be too many for the Caw Blade match?

each of the decks that you mention, have ways around it, even if you stop the titan's ability he is still bashing for 6 a turn.

hawks/stones have into the roil, or in MonoWhite, they have journeys or divine offering plus if they play first and drop a hawk turn two, this card doesnt even do what you want it to do, cuz they will get at least 2 of them.

Deciever i know, plays 3 into the roil, just for that purpose.

it will slow them down, but alot of peps are playing archive traps/surgical extraction, 4 of each in SB....that pretty much takes care of all those decks, usually before you even take a turn, they have scooped.

It's a powerful card no doubt, the real question is what deck can actually abuse it. Having no cip creatures in your deck sucks, as cip creatures are generally awesome.

Playing good beats with no ETB effects could still be really good. Like Baneslayer Angel.

ive been playtesting a Caw-blade deck with venser, deciever and torpor. and Torpor works great even in a caw-blade when you have venser.

I would say that it's a good time for a deck with this type of disruption. Also Leonin Arbiter does not do anything to Valakut. They are going to have removal or the mana to get there anyway. The question needs to be solved is the deck.

I am thinking that UG Cobra Tempo or some WWx aggro disruption deck.
