Okay, so I'm gonna attempt to add some legitimacy to the Bible, not that I care, I think the whole book is stupid and inspires people to kill each other of it's interpretation, but hey, let's play God's advocate.

Imagine that an alien species on another planet had to peace out because their planet was dying, like how Mars' core stopped turning. So, they would have to make an ark, ie spaceship, and take everything they could to another place to live. This would be easy with technology. Just cryo everything and take off.

So they come to Earth to start over, things get screwed up, and the stories of how they got here are distorted over time and turned into the Bible today. Also, some of their technology still exists and accounts for crazy shit like the Ark of the Covenant, the Spear of Destiny, etc etc etc.

Yeah, it's the whole ancient astronaut story which is popular on History channel now. I find it way more plausible than the Bible, but still pretty far-fetched. But hey, that's what stories are for right? To make us think, question, and come to our own conclusions. My own conclusion: now is all that matters, screw the past, look forward to the future, and make the most of the now!

Doomster: We also know that the Bible has been changed countless times for political reasons. See: King James.
