surrakar Spellblade belongs in this type of deck IMO. He's a super ophidian in this type of deck and fuels the rest of the engine. All the other cards die to lightning bolt anyway, so it's not like that's a big reason to not play him.

Seems scattershot also. You have blue in your deck for distortion strike and preordain? Isn't burst lightning and forked bolt just better? Do about the same things.

4 Chandra's Spitfire
4 Scroll Thief
4 Surrakar Spellblade

4 Preordain
4 Distortion Strike
4 Lightning Bolt
4 Staggershock
3 Fling
1 World at War

SB: 4 Negate
SB: 3 Spell Pierce
SB: 3 Into the Roil
SB: 3 Cunning Sparkmage
SB: 2 Jace Beleren

This is a list that is play in my area. Chandra's Spitfire, Scroll Thief, and Surrakar Spellblade are a must have in the deck. Rebound is key in the deck. Fling is your response to spot removal during the combat phase or EOT. World at War while pretty lame is not bad in the deck and can steal wins.

Your game one is good vs Control or Ramp. Post board you need to side Negate and Spell Pierce to stop their spot removal and sweepers. Into the Roil is for the Pyro match. Sparkmage is for other Sparkmages and mana babies. Jace is to board out dead cards in random matches.

RDW is nut vs you so remember you are the control player in the match.

Pyro, Splinter Twin, and Polymorph are really hard for you to win. If you see a lot combo decks side one more into the Roil.

The deck has not won more then one FNM so just remember you can go all the way if you prepare your side and practice.

I can't begin by saying how wrong that is.
RDW is still around, despite "pro's" saying it'll be gone. Quit listening to them, and grab a mind of your own.
On another note, get rid of this deck, and make a viable one. It relies way too much on creatures, and instead, you're left with just having a few spells that don't really do much at all....
