theres a U/R standard kiln fiend deck that is semi-alright and is like almost all commons anyways... youd just have to lose surrakar spellblade

surrakar spellblade is easily the least impressive card in a kiln fiend deck anyway.

Allies is a nice thought, but without Kazandu Blademaster, Hada Freeblade, and Kabira Evangelist, you lose all the good ones there.
Now, R/G allies could be considered, though, since Akoum Battlesinger, Greypelt Hunter, and Oran-Rief Survivalist are all commons. Along with this, you have access to Harrow, 2 good landfall expeditions, Plated Geopede, and a couple of okay chunky green creatures like Timbermaw Larva.

My personal commons only build would probably involve Nest Invader, Kozilek's Predator, Arbor Elf, some more green ramp, and Ulamog's Crusher. An 8/8 with Annihilator 2 for 8 shouldn't have to be shy about attacking each turn. Plus, you have access to one of the best counterspells green has ever seen: Vines of Vastwood. Respond to stuff with it, and it's often a counterspell for G. It can also be used as a nice boost in a pinch. Might of the Masses could also be a card you consider, since you Predators and Invaders will be pumping out lots of tokens. Combine these with Explore and Growth Spasm to speed up your mana, and some decent extra creatures, and you'll have a pretty solid deck. Also, don't forget Khalni Garden! If you want to have fun with the Landfall aspect as well, you could consider putting in Grazing Gladeheart in your deck or sideboard.

Good luck, and feel free to message me if you want to play some Pauper Block Constructed some time. Very Happy
