Actually, considering magic arsenal is a website, chances are that he paid with a credit card or paypal. Its an accepted business practice to refund credit purchases with store credit (Target uses it and they arent even a website).

I emailed them, telling them how I heard about this, and told them I, nor any of my friends, would buy from their store, and they sent me back another email:
Thanks very much for the email; I don’t believe we heard from Larry.
I just sent an email to Larry though. So instead of having to retype the entire thing, I thought I’d just attach it. The long and the short of it was, he actually got a credit card refund and Didn’t get store credit, and our shipping department overreacted to a large degree by not just sending him his 12 Ichorids, they employed a policy reserved for people trying to buy us out of a specific card we have incorrectly priced. In this case it appears we had MANY Ichorids and so this policy should not have been enforced, period.
Anyway, happy holidays! And if this is posted somewhere we’d sure appreciate it if you’d post a reply. While I prescribe that there’s no such thing as bad publicity, I’d just as soon have people realize we’re probably the best online site on the net when it comes right down to it.
If this is somewhere online, please link me. In thanks for your help, I’d be happy to an xmas present around the office for you too J
