Just wondering what you all thought, my first foray into fnm with this deck it did top eight. Notables it faced were u/w iona/jace control and other vampires. It will, once it at its best, prolly not join the honorable few with strong chances against jund, i can accept that. some changes i will make are -2 liliana and +2 sorin exp:
Sorin was the mvp that first night winning me 2 of the 4 matches won. Liliana when drawn was underwhelming when on the board but also not drawn as much.
-2 smother +2 urge to feed exp:
To my knowledge theres nothing one takes down the other does not. Urge also feeds the vamps, that being said man lands dont die to urge thus the reasoning for the following sb change
-1 one grim discovery,-1 highborn, + 2 smother

sb change 2
-2 mind rots +2 mind sludge
go big or go home seems to be the better fit for my meta

The reason i can accept not being strong against jund is my meta features on a regular fnm 60-70 decks. You can go 3 jund matches in a row, or not face jund at all. All in all i think with the changes i made my jund match is 30-70 max so tell me what you think, thank you.

As you mentioned there are the manlands.. furthermore War Monk and KOTR, that gets out of Urge-range easily and is one of the toughest things for Vampires to deal with.

Leatherback too, smother is just better. You said it yourself, they kill the same stuff... but smother kills more.

I wouldn't state that Smother is "better".. I like the split.
Urge gets Emeria Angel, SGC and helps Nighthawk to take down BSA Wink

You have Tendrils for the Emeria/Baneslayer Very Happy. The fact that Smother kills the manlands is huuuuuge.

You got Tendrils for manlands as well Wink

In my oppinion the meta moves back towards Disfigure, cause of MonoR..

My split nowadays is 2 Disfigure, 1 Urge, 4 Tendrils. Smother SB.. While I must admit, that Urge could be a Smother as well.. Maybe that will be the last change before Bruxelles ;D
