How will these cards interact? For example, I'm testing Hive Mind Combo for Extended, and obviously Chalice for zero is one of my biggest concerns. Can Vexing Shusher stop Chalice from countering a Pact of Negation/Titan/whatever? Thanks.

Chalice for 0 does NOTHING to hive mind combo.

It will counter your copy of a Pact, but Hive Mind will still place a copy of the pact on your opponents stack, and it will resolve. So he will still have to pay that cost. Anyone who told you chalice ruins your combo, was a cheater, or a moron.

shusher makes the spell uncounterable and chalice tries to counter it, shusher wins, and yes chalice is useless vs hive mind combo
