why the tsunami/sphynx instead of something non-blue? You just add colors for those, and they don't really add to the strategy much. If you keep it, I think the 5UWB 6/6 angel that has pro green and red could be in here...its a beast. Also if you cut the blue you might be able to fit an Emeria in there. Also a beast.

They're good flyers, and i wanted to be 5c. I think im going to run the domain discard card -- voices of the void.

Cobra could be nice but he will likely draw early removal....I also agree that if you cut the blue you can add some serious power. Like Ajani V or Elspeth or possibly chandra nalaar. Garruk would also help in ramping.

And you could stabalize the mana base better by cutting blue.

Living Tsunami doesnt fit in this deck, cuz its doesnt add anything relevant to your strategy and its not good by itself.
I know that Bogardan Hellkite is a bit expensive, but why dont you try it out and see how it works?

I thought about this deck last night waiting to fall asleep, strange that it should already be posted. I was thinking GW ramp would be best but it would need some fixing. Maelstorm pulse is very effective. Some early defense would be good even tanglesnap. While this may seem strange to say, this deck really needs a way to draw cards. I was thinking with all the mana ramp beast hunt might be viable?

I meant the shield Iona. I'm not so good with names. The 9 mana one. Bloodwitch is fine, but I'm not so sure it's better than some multi-color cards you could play given the colors. I could see you getting beat by RDW with this list, unfortunately. They get you down with goblins and the like, then finish it with burn. If you're going to ramp, ramp into a "win NOW" card, Like the 9 mana guy, or something that gains you an insane amount of life, which in this format is scoopworthy against 80% of the meta.

This version has the same problems the last one did, right? The mana is still off a bit. I agree with trying to get it to GW, those are the most powerful colors.

Not if he still ran the living tsunami, he can just bounce the lands. Same with running sphinx of jwar isle he can just play it off the seas. I think the deck looks tight, keep doing what you're doing until it doesnt suck

I just feel like Tsunami doesn't belong in the deck, you basically can't cast it til turn 5 or 6 anyway with a curve like this and that makes the only way to get land from the deck Path to Exile on the Tsunami or Harrow, both of which are pretty bad 2-for-1 losses, the Path on the Tsunami straight up and the Harrow against a deck with like what, 12 counterspells?

In either case I don't think ramp fatties is going to be a better alternative than bant, which already does this.

Plus, I disagree with 3 sources of spell ramp when your manabase only has 13 basic lands, especially considering that Harrow needs a sac and you're running 10 fetches.
