| Why 20 lands? That's a bit too much. You could have easily gotten at least 1 or 2 Expedition Maps which would improve your chances of getting valakut. |

Because I didn't draft enough red and didnt want to go a 2nd color, and besides mountains late game reads "Lightning Bolt" and I do have 2 Expedition Map in the deck. |

I think 20 lands is too much, especially with expedition map, but I think there is something to be said for playing more lands when you have a top-notch deck. With a really high-quality deck, not hitting your lands is one of only a few ways you can lose a game, and so trying to minimize this is a good idea. That said, you can go overboard with this idea and end up playing way too much land, as was the case here. I wouldn't play less than 18 though, even with the maps. |

Ahh...so my troll has worked
As far as the draft itself went, I was already red with a splash for white. I was just floored seeing that 3rd pick. I know it was late, and I know that there were better uncommons or to take in the first 2 picks.
BTW...won the draft. If anyone would like me to post my picks say so...trying to get a little better in limited. |
