okay so the meta in my area is mostly aggro (zoo, bdw, and other various agrro/beatdown decks). thinking of mb pyroclasm in place of hinder. sounds okay?

Sounds good, you also might want to consider doing something like the build i am leaning towards....

MD:
4 Wildfire
3 Dimir Signet
3 Golgari Signet
3 Spectral Searchlight
4 Remand
4 Dream Leash
4 Annex
2 Keiga
3 Kokoshu
3 Icy Manipulator
4 Putrefy
1 Island
4 Tendo Ice Bridge
1 Shinka, the Bloodsoaked Keep
1 Shizo, Death's Storehouse
4 Shivan Reef
4 Dimir Aqueduct
1 Oboro, Palace in the Clouds
2 Mountain
2 Miren, the Moaning Well
1 Minamo, School at Water's Edge
2 Mikokoro, Center of the Sea
SB:
4 Shadow of Doubt(in this deck it is better than saying "Cranial for Yosei")
4 Pyroclasm
4 Hearth Kami
3 Pithing Needle

these changes are in response to my 3rd place finish at FNM last week...
round one: opponent doesnt show up =( so i win 2-0
round two: 2-1 win vs Greater Goods with Gifts (Shadow of Doubt was much better than Cranial
round three: 2-1 win vs. Battle of Witts.... man was he pissed... brought Shadow of Doubt in here as well and he couldnt Transumute or Tutor =)
round 4: 2-0 loss vs. WWr game one i got owned(putrefy's will help here... A LOT.... Jitte hosers MB are sweet too) game 2 was crap.... i wildfired 2 times..... full clear of all his lands and creatures everytime.... after both his next 3 draws were ALL land
into a swiftblade and another creature...... i also made a mistake that made the game end sooner, but it wouldnt have mattered

The main philosophy with this deck is:
"What ever i can't kill i'll steal, and what ever i cant steal i'll kill, and if i can't kill it or steal it yet i'll just tap it! Twisted Evil gg,sir. Twisted Evil "

Try this build:

4 Wildfire
4 Dream Leash
4 Annex
4 Remand
4 Shock
4 Icy Manipulator
4 Dimir Signet
3 Spectral Searchlight
3 Kokoshu
3 Keiga

4 Tendo Ice Bridge
4 Shivan Reef
4 Dimir Aqueduct
2 Mikokoro, Center of the Sea
2 Miren, the Moaning Well
2 Mountain
1 Island
1 Shinka, the Bloodsoaked Keep
1 Minamo, School at Water's Edge
1 Shizo, Death's Storehouse
1 Oboro, Palace in the Clouds

SB:
4 Pryoclasim
3-4 Shadow of Doubt
3 Execute(or Slay with Gruul coming into standerd in a few weeks)
4-5 lots left(pick based on your area meta-game)

With The Izzet making its mark on standerd in a few weeks, this deck is in a good position to dominate the format(if not at LEAST be a tier1 deck type).

Note1:
"round 4: 2-0 loss vs. WWr game one i got owned(putrefy's will help here... A LOT)"
Ever heard of a little card called "shock"?
During early games and after Wildfireing its a golden card vs R/W wennie/aggro(it fits the mana of the deck and costs 2 full mana less that putrify to boot)
the MAIN threat in this match-up is jitte, you can survive the rest.Dream leash can steal it, Icy can tap the creature its equipt to, and if you REALY want to get nasty, you have pithing neddle as a side board option(if your strapt on cash try smash).

Note2:
This is the first time Icy Manipulator and Wildfire are both legal in standard and the both kick ass together(Dream Leash is just icing on the cake, and Damn Good icing it is!)!

May'be Electrolyze could be used? May'be not MD but it seems like an awesome SB card, not everyone wants to run shock, and this spell scream's card advantage. Thoughts? Comments?

A problem i have while playing this deck is against sacred ground or life from the loam. Anyone have a good counter strategy to those? (i know it only affects wildfire, but still it renders your main win strategy useless)

Thoughts on guildpact cards:

Steam Vents: obviously good

Izzet Boilerworks: it works really well for me. it makes sure i have extra mana after wildfire. The turn 2 bounceland/signet choice doesn't bother me that much

Electrolyze: Works ok in my deck. Still i feel 3 mana to use this card is a bit too much. Try it and you'll see what i mean

Izzet Signet: great in the deck.

Shattering Spree: great sideboard card against mirror. I'm also looking to use these against ideal.

Repeal: Never tried it, but it should be great. This is a temporary solution i can think of against sacred ground. Really stalls well.

Vertigo Spawn: Quite the defender this is. I'm switching between Kaijin of Vanishing Touch, this and Drift of Phantasms as sideboard card in addition to Pyroclasm i have MD. The spawn in my opinion is the best card of the 3.

Open for discussion.

You could use Cremate or Moratorium Stone to counter life from the loam. As for sacred ground, I guess you could confiscate it, that's all I can think of in the R/U/B version, if you splashed white then obviously Terashi's Grasp or some other E spot removal.

I notice domain, and ur wildfire runs mana leaks, at least in sb. I've been playing these decks for some time, but i don't get it why mana leaks are there for? It runs many sorceries, and unless you are doing something wrong you are very often tapped out. It's also not MUC so you can't just hope to counter every spell, thus mana leak if played should be very well timed, whats your strategy with playing mana leak? For what kind of spells you tend to save it, against what decks do you side it in?

I've found that Leak helps in the tempo game. Against the mirror, I'll often not play a Signet on turn 2 and leave Leak open. A lot of times, if you counter their Annex and then play your own, that's often game. Leak also helps against other troublesome cards like Phyrexian Arena.

Since Domain is a relatively slow deck, Mana Leak gives it more options to play early on and this helps the deck maintain tempo.

i've been doing best with straight U/R and only splashing black for cranial sb. when i get home from school i can post a list.

emminent domain is by far not as slow as it seems. i've been able to clean out my opponent by turn 4 with little problems. it is slower than aggro, but it wrecks other control because of it's speed.
