ok, this is the list.
// Lands
2 [ZEN] Swamp (3)
2 [ZEN] Marsh Flats
5 [ZEN] Plains (1)
6 [ZEN] Forest (1)
2 [ZEN] Verdant Catacombs
4 [ZEN] Misty Rainforest
3 [ZEN] Island (1)
// Creatures
2 [ALA] Empyrial Archangel
4 [M10] Baneslayer Angel
3 [ZEN] Iona, Shield of Emeria
3 [ARB] Sphinx of the Steel Wind
// Spells
3 [M10] Garruk Wildspeaker
4 [10E] Rampant Growth
2 [ZEN] Trapmaker's Snare
4 [ZEN] Summoning Trap
3 [ZEN] Day of Judgment
4 [ZEN] Khalni Heart Expedition
1 [CNF] Martial Coup
3 [ZEN] Harrow
// Sideboard
SB: 1 [ZEN] Iona, Shield of Emeria
SB: 3 [ALA] Rhox War Monk
SB: 3 [CNF] Celestial Purge
SB: 2 [ZEN] Day of Judgment
SB: 3 [M10] Negate
SB: 3 [ALA] Oblivion Ring
The goal is clear, ramp into Summoning Trap or ramp all the way and beat with the fatties.
Some good opening hands flop into nothing, but when the game stabilizes the landfiltering and the sheer-power-creatures win most games. Its the beginning of the game that should be improved though, I added Garruk and Day of J for that matter but it still isnt consistent enough.
What do you guys suggest? |

| would lotus cobra provide turn earlier situations, and possible deterrents to attack? i might drop the baneslayers for rampaging baloths that way the mana accel doesn't go to waste, also it takes a day of judgment or a few kill spells for a fully online baloth... one pte, death mark etc... for a baneslayer. also you have 5 day of judgments in the 75 |

| Ajani Vengeant? Oh... it's off-colour. Since that you're ramp with 10 land fetchers, you can add more colours. Red for Bolt, etc. Or maybe replace Khalni Heart Expedition for the above cards? |

| I would think about adding dauntless escort to protect your creatures when you use Day of Judgement. |

I like this deck concept.
I think the version that won the trial has the right idea.
Iona and Sphynx of the steel wind.
Sphynx hits the table = gg for jund.
Iona shuts down any mono-color deck and probably any 2 color deck as well.
Lotus Cobra just gives them a target for their removal. However, it might get pathed against some decks, which helps you out. A 25 dollar rampant growth.
I don't like the expedition at all.
Less than 4 sphynx of the steel wind seems wrong. It ends the game for Jund outright.
This deck can find itself in trouble against any fast deck:
bushwacker
vampires
RDW
There really is no way to overcome this early game weakness without ruining the overall deck. Therefore, it will always remain a fringe metagame choice against a Jund heavy field. |

Lotus cobra seems tempting and I tried them before along with 4 hierarch. I didnt run any removal and focussed on the fast trap mainly. But that was really inconsistent.
As for the expedition, it works along with the other landfetchers pretty good. Faster then 4hierarch, 4cobra, 4growth, 3harrow because the creatures only provide targets for removal. So from my experience I vote for creatureless rampcards, and maybe replace expedition with trace of abundance?
SJM, I agree on all your statements. The sphinx needs to be 4-off, but I still have hope for expedition. Just test him some more, I guess.
Dauntless is tempting, gonna try that to be sure on him.
Same for PtE.
As for red, could be good but then again what is replaced for bloodbraid and ajani? And does the change strengthen the deck or not? I tend to think it wont. It isnt like the snowramp deck from the recent past, and doesnt need an overall control. It focusses on unbeatable creatures and ignores the rest.
thanks for the responds, I'm off testing! |

If you're going to play garruk in this deck, there is no excuse for not playing trace of abundance.
Max out on iona and sphinx of the steel wind, those are the two trap targets that will win the game immediately after coming into play the most often.
I don't like day of judgement in the list because on turn 4 you want to be slapping down the trap. And the turns prior to that must be reserved for finding and ramping into trap. It's also something you won't really want to have in hand against control, which should be one of your better matchups. I've been tinkering with a list that has no pre-board removal at all, and I am totally content with that. |

| You have no reason to run more than 1 swamp. |

| I'd suggest going for 5c, and putting in 2 swamps and 2 islands, 4 Trace of Abundance, and add PROGENITUS! It's COOL! It can be summoned! and put in bomb 4 drops (which you'll be able to drop on the third turn) such as Garruk, Ajani Vengeant, Exploding Borders (!!!) and... er... Spellbreaker Behemoth? I dunno. Overall, a great idea to ramp up! Rawr! The cascade cards would be nice (Bloodbraid Elf), cuz the worst that could happen is you ramping up one mana (actually, with Ramp, Trace and Harrow, that's all you'll get, haha). Or you can go the way of X, and skip bloodbraids for Martial Coup, Mind Shatter and/or Banefire perhaps? I dunno. I'll test it out! The new 5c! |

You do know that Trace of Abundance gives the land Shroud? There are several cards that will give you turn 3 Garruk, all of which are good excuses. |

IF I facing the fast aggro, how to use your sideboard and which cards should side out? Like Vampire, R/W , WW, red deck wins?
Thanks. |

| That was Es Una Trappa! I love that deck, haha! Have you tried a transformative sideboard, like the other traps? If you make it 5c, you can put in the other traps without compromising much (just 1-of should be enough). And wouldn't Wall of Denial be better than Reverence (shroud wall)? Just thinkin' out loud. And is Mycoid shepherd really really much better than other 4drops? |

Really mycoid is THE BEST DROP! Reverence is really good through testing for boros which was my main problem (seems to be kinda solved now after sb its a 50%-50% match)
And no more traps ! With this sb you can make a new deck depending on match!!! |
