SB: 2 [ARB] Identity Crisis
SB: 3 [ZEN] Vampire Nighthawk
SB: 4 [M10] Black Knight
SB: 2 [ARB] Necromancer's Covenant
I didn't put PTE because doesn't work well with QftG.
Help me make this deck better =).
Do you think that Wretched Banquet is playable?
Should Celestial Purge be a 4x md card?
Edit: I forgot Purge in sb oops . Sb fixed.
Tested a bit against jund im 4-4 w/o purge in sb.
Tidehollow Sculler / duress really helps to get threats out for baneslayer to not eat removal .
QftG is sooo good with DoJ. |

| Path is really good vs Jund too, I'd probably run it regardless of quest. Actually a pretty interesting deck idea, haven't seen many in a while. Honestly, I don't think it will work because your threats aren't very good, aside from Baneslayer obviously. I'm not really sure what else I'd do, but that's just my opinion. |

I quickly realized that Pitball Trap is way better then Wretched Banquet and it still activates Quest.
For threats... maybe luminarch ascension since I disrupt their hand alot so it should be activated easily...
I hope worldwake brings a BW PW =/ |

Pitfall trap takes care of any color, but Doom Blade sucks against Jund |

I actually play this deck at FNM. Irl I play:
4x Bloodghast
3x Gatekeeper of Malakir
3x World Queller
4x Day of Judgment
4x Quest for the Gravelord
3x Pitfall Trap
2x Path to Exile
3x Duress
3x Sadistic Sacrament
3x Sign in Blood
2x Identity Crisis
2x Lilliana Vess
4x Marsh Flats
4x Arcane Sanctum
7x Plains
9 x Swamps
Sb:
3x Ethersworn Canonist
3x Oblivion Ring
3x Vampire Hexmage
3x Zealous Persecution
2x Path to Exile
1x Haunting Echoes
The deck is really solid. Like you said before throwing down QftG before Wrathing is awesome. And Bloodghasts come back after just by dropping land. I run World Quellers because it's a solution for everything and is awesome for tempo control because this deck effectively works off of five mana (3 Black, 2 White). I'd suggest Lilliana Vess as a Planeswalker option. She sticks with the theme and is a great finisher. I think our decks have similar concepts mine may be a little more disruption oriented while yours goes for the beatdown. I may try the Tidehollow Scullers. Let me know how it goes.
Oh, by the way Identity Crisis + Liliana Vess + World Queller rocks. If you can effectively have the opponent sac the majority of their land and keep them down to one card they are in a use it or lose it state. Otherwise I'd just use her final ability. I'm always looking for ways to improve this deck too. Any suggestions let me know!

Thumbs up to Jns Crow, he's correct in the idea that the deck needs to be more disruption and the way HE does it is really nice. Even though he doesnt run WalletSlayer his Quellers are still 4/4 flying beats that control well- dont forget you can call lands until you both are out (its risky but, in the end if you know you will win...)
I am really liking this deck now, going to make a copy for MWS might play it a bit |

jnscrow has a better build i think...not sure where i stand on identity crisis yet but i haven't really played with or against it...however with control i like silence played at the beginning of my opponents upkeep...and if you're going for major disruption i'd throw in liliana vess....
just my two cents |
