Need some suggestions for a t&n tron build

I was thinking of running tooth and nail but need some suggestions as to a splash color.

Should I build around gifts with lflt spell burst and academy ruins for slaver or red for removal spells for teeg, M Mage

When I get home I can post decklists for both considerations when I get home in around 7 hours. Any lists you feel might cut it would be great. I like the mono green build but it has problems with Mage and teeg,

You seem to have joined MTG not a long time ago.

Suggestions are White or Blue, with white you win time vs aggro decks or if you decide to use blue you have thirst for knowledge and mindslaver+academy. your choice.
