| Is it mandatory to have the newest version of a card in your deck to fit in with the t2 rules? Since I'm interested in participating in some tournaments soon, I was wondering if there was an easier way to look for cards in a certain edition while using MWS so my decks are tournament legal. I know the ones I have in my deck already are permitted (as in not banned/restricted), but are sometimes the older edition version. |

| yeah and thank god for that cuz most of the flavor text on the older cards is better than that of the newer cards...which is usually how i pick which edition of the card to use anyhow... |

Just because it is worded differently the rules for the card are the same. so it does not matter what edition you play. |
