Thanks to WotC for making mono-U unplayable this deck makes your opponent rage like crazy.
I played 5 games on MWS and after turn 6 on MWS I got called "a$$hole" and the guy d/c .
I believe its good against the meta right now, it makes Jund cry.
I got 2 versions, I'll test more and see which ones better, altought its getting difficult testing on MWS becuz ppl just d/c after turn 6
.

************************EDIT************************
I decided to cut white and add Black it provides more synergy with the Land disruption.
This is what I'm running right now.
// Lands
4 [ALA] Crumbling Necropolis
4 [M10] Drowned Catacomb
3 [ZEN] Scalding Tarn
4 [M10] Dragonskull Summit
4 [ZEN] Island (2)

3 [ARB] Bituminous Blast
4 [M10] Lightning Bolt
1 [ZEN] Rite of Replication
1 [CFX] Nicol Bolas, Planeswalker
// Sideboard
SB: 4 [M10] Swerve
SB: 2 [M10] Pyroclasm
SB: 3 [M10] Pithing Needle
SB: 3 [ARB] Terminate
SB: 3 [ALA] Thought Hemorrhage
EDIT:
Matches:
4-1 vs Naya Zoo
0-2 vs Vampires (The guy just kept drawing a chit load of lands and he was running fetchlands o_O, I'll have to test more, maybe it was just bad draws on my part)
2-0 vs BW control
7-2 vs Jund
I made a mistake in game 3 by enchanting is Rootboung Craig instead of his lonely forest with spreading sea's so that the next rootboung craig he played would cip tapped and wouldn't thought hemmorrhage my sphinx next turn.
I'd say the Jund matchup is close to 50-50 depending on the draws we both get.
The swerve switch in the sb was definately worth it.
I did -4 Deathmark, +4 Swerve in sb.
I did -4 Demolish , +4 Kathari Remnant in the md.
Cascade is just retarded.
I'm starting to think this deck has more then 50% change to beat Jund for sure.

Deck thief. That 2nd list is mine. All 75 cards. Even the crappy SB i thru together.
Nah i Don't really care glad its good enough for someone to try to pass it off as theirs
Depends on the meta which is better, tbh
I'd say 1 is better if you have more boros, 2 if you have more RDW and Jund.
Duress and Pulse MESS this up post side vs jund btw (all those land skrewer's get blown up in 1 shot and next turn they cast Broodmate or somethin crazy.
Fun as heck, but PROBABLY not competitive. |

Most annoying? It's just annoying to see people who don't like posts like this continue to read them and comment. |

Not sure why convincing mirage is being played or even...demolish??
Spreading seas is pretty nuts, it gets you a card, sets mono back a turn at times and sets 2-3 color decks back at least one turn, plus you get a card. Sure they can pulse it but then that means they wasted their pulse on a spreading sea which is embarassing in it's own right. If you didn't have anything tight to play at that point were you really going to win anyways? Here's a list I put together similiar to this minus a lot of the bad stuff.
// Deck file for Magic Workstation (http://www.magicworkstation.com)
// Lands
3 [U] Island (3)
3 [ALA] Mountain (1)
5 [ST] Plains (3)
4 [M10] Glacial Fortress
4 [ZEN] Arid Mesa
4 [ZEN] Scalding Tarn
2 [CFX] Rupture Spire
1 [M10] Gargoyle Castle
// Creatures
2 [ALA] Elspeth, Knight-Errant
3 [LRW] Jace Beleren
4 [M10] Baneslayer Angel
3 [ALA] Ajani Vengeant
2 [ZEN] Sphinx of Lost Truths
// Spells
2 [ZEN] Luminarch Ascension
4 [ZEN] Day of Judgment
4 [4E] Lightning Bolt
3 [ZEN] Rite of Replication
4 [ZEN] Spreading Seas
3 [CFX] Path to Exile
// Sideboard
SB: 2 [ZEN] Luminarch Ascension
SB: 1 [ZEN] Rite of Replication
SB: 1 [CFX] Path to Exile
SB: 1 [MOR] Negate
SB: 4 [CFX] Celestial Purge
SB: 2 [CFX] Volcanic Fallout
SB: 4 [CS] Flashfreeze
Rite of replication is pretty nuts, considering all the removal MB and even more removal tailored to jund in the SB it's not tough getting to 9 mana to pop a kicked replication. Deck seems to be pretty well rounded. And don't knock seas till you try it. |

I agree on Rite of Replication, I like it.
I cut White and added Black because it provides bounce and cascade effects, I find its alot better even if I don't have the wrath effect available.
Convincing Mirage / Spreading Sea's / Demolish are to disrupt your opponent till you bring out your threats.
// Lands
4 [ALA] Crumbling Necropolis
4 [M10] Drowned Catacomb
3 [ZEN] Scalding Tarn
3 [M10] Dragonskull Summit
4 [ZEN] Island (2)
4 [ZEN] Swamp (3)
2 [ZEN] Mountain (1)

3 [ZEN] Sphinx of Jwar Isle
3 [ARB] Kathari Remnant

2 [ALA] Cruel Ultimatum
4 [ALA] Grixis Charm
4 [ZEN] Spreading Seas
4 [M10] Convincing Mirage
4 [ZEN] Demolish
3 [ARB] Deny Reality
3 [ARB] Bituminous Blast
4 [M10] Lightning Bolt
2 [ZEN] Rite of Replication
// Sideboard
SB: 4 [M10] Deathmark
SB: 3 [M10] Pyroclasm
SB: 4 [M10] Pithing Needle
SB: 4 [ARB] Terminate
I didn't add Jace becuz I can't make room for it but Cruel + Sea's makes me draw cards and cascade provides card advantage.
Anyways I like this deck alot, try it out and you'll see, your opponent will be pi$$ed at you because he won't be able to play anything ^_^.
2-0 vs Naya Zoo.
I side out Mirage + Demolish here cuz many of his creatures cost 1 to play, those really shine vs control or aggro decks that their lowest cc is 2+.
SB for Zoo
-4 Mirage , -4 Demolish
+4 Deathmark , +4 Terminate

| Well I still don't know about demolish and mirage, the current meta curves at turn 2-3 so those cards seem worthless. Spreading seas gets you a card which mirage does not. |

Its in the md becuz its very good against Jund, he won't have the mana symbols to Pulse Mirage / Sea's.
Also very good against RDW, he won't be able to play Ball Lightning / Elemental Appeal anytime soon.
Vampires won't play Noctornus anytime soon.
And its funny how it owns Cruel Ultimatum decks lol -_-'
Call the color they don't play with mirage. |
