So, Vintage cards in Zendikar packs.

So as some of you may know wizards has put vintage cards in an unknownmber of packs in Zendikar, since today is prerelease day, if any body wants to share about opening one that would be awesome. I did not open one, nor see one but i have gotten confirmation from another store that it did indeed happen. Stories welcome

I gotta admit I was skeptical at first but this is legit...Orlando PR pulled Tundra out of the pack...in Daytona they opened packs and pulled a Lich out!

This is entirely true. Though the odds are rather astronomical. From reports that I have heard at my local game shop, the owner said it is about 1 card in 30 boxes. Good hunting!

I believe the odds are 1 in 20 boxes. From what I have heard everything is unlimited or less that is higher end but I have heard about moxen and even a lotus being pulled thus far. I am sure there are other cards like drains, libraries, and bazaars as well. Funny thing is the guy that opened the mishra's factory at ours tried to play it in his deck lol.

The one question I have is since they said they would not take up a spot of a playable card do the "treasures" cards take up a token slot, basic land slot or what? Thx.

The old card takes up a basic land slot. Everything is confirmed by a lebel 5 judge via the judges mailing list. The full text can be found at the thread o mtgsalvation.
The cards ar not reprints but cards that have been bought back by Wizards.
Most comments seem to indicate that the priceless treasures can only be found in the first print run. Time will have to prove that to be true or false.

some knob head pulled "the abyss" at my pre release, proves that its not just unlimited and stuff. cus its legends an all
