Backward Cards not being read.

So I downloaded the path from slightly magic and from MWS for Alara cycle and M10. They didn’t actually have the cards for Alara or m10, so I input them manually using text spoilers.

When I try to add cards from the Alara cycle to a deck, the end up being blank, showing me the back of the card design.
Then if I save the deck and reload, those cards aren’t in the deck and I get a message telling me they were not found in base.

Shhh....

I messed around a bunch and I think I may have fixed it. I hit the assign master base button. Now it appears to be working.

If anyone knows what was going on, I would appreciate if they would let me know.
