|
|
If opponent plays Bitimous Blast targetting my only creature in play (Qasali Pridemage) and I respond by paying 1 mana and sacrificing Qasali Pridemage to destroy an artifact does Cascade effect still occur even though Bitimous fizzled for lack of legal targets?
Thanks |

| Yes - Cascade happens when the spell is played, not on resolution. |

Also, the Cascade ability resolves and you play and resolve the revealed card before the Blast resolves.
Since 'fizzling' happens when it tries to resolve but find all the targets missing, this won't even happen until after the cascaded card resolved. |
