what if i play Elspeth, Knight-Errant and then when it resolves i use the ability to put a token
my oponent says he does 4 damage to it with a spell in response
allegating i dont get a token and elsperth dies and that i cant do the ability and that its an instant spell and im using a sorcery time ability but i told him i keep priority after i play her.
and another day i play Elspeth, Knight-Errant and say i use the ability to put a token in response he allegates to boomerang it to my hand and he says i dont get a token cuz its sorcery speeed ability and i cant do anything before he boomerangs
i tell him i keep priority right after it resolves and use the ability he says that cont be done plz clarify
she will be bounced but i would get a token and i can play the ability before he can boomerang
in my opinion she will be destroyed but i will get the tokenin the second case. |

You're right,
whenever a spell resolves active player receives priority, so, if you play Elspeth and your opponent lets it resolve, you can play the ability right away and put a counter on her, if he then deals 4 damage, Elspeth will be at 1, and you get the 1/1 soldier.
In the boomerang example Elspeth gets bounced back, but you do get the 1/1 token. |

^^ correct:
Planeswalkers are permanents that allow you to play activated abilities at sorcery speed. Once a planeswalker that has been played resolves, you have priority as the active player. You may immediately activate your p.walker with any of its abilities, assuming enough counters obviously (if -x). The addition/subtraction of the counter(s) to/from the p.walkers is the activation cost. Your opponent can respond to this, however, the cost has been paid, so the number of counters will change regardless, and the activated ability will be on the stack. Both above mentioned examples are correct in the outcomes respectively. |
