4 [ALA] Forest (4)
4 [CFX] Ancient Ziggurat

// Creatures

4 [ALA] Akrasan Squire
2 [LRW] Gaddock Teeg
4 [ALA] Rafiq of the Many
2 [LRW] Burrenton Forge-Tender
4 [ALA] Rhox War Monk
4 [ALA] Jhessian Infiltrator
1 [ARB] Knotvine Paladin

// Spells
2 [10E] Loxodon Warhammer
4 [ALA] Bant Charm
3 [ALA] Oblivion Ring
3 [MOR] Negate

// Sideboard
SB: 2 [LRW] Gaddock Teeg
SB: 2 [LRW] Burrenton Forge-Tender
SB: 3 [ARB] Meddling Mage
SB: 3 [CFX] Scattershot Archer
SB: 2 [CFX] Martial Coup
SB: 1 [SHM] Runed Halo
SB: 2 [SHM] Vexing Shusher

What do you think? It's pretty solid, the Forge-Tender and Gaddock mainboard is mainly because of 5cc and Blightning.

Oh, and I'm running on a limited budget so I probably can't get reflecting pools... Sad

You probably need to replace the basics with painlands in order to play all those 1cc creatures turn 1.

Akrasan Squire is a trap. It looks good, but you're aiming at T1 Hierarch, T2 Rhox War Monk, T3 Rafiq.

I'd go -3 Akrasan Squire, -1 Knotvine Mystic for +4 Shorecrasher Mimic.

Edit: Also, I agree that you need painlands and cryptics if you can afford them.

Jenara > Rhox imo

You're trying to get your opponent to 0 fastest, not get to 40 life fastest. If you want, put 2 monks in SB for aggro MU's. Jenara is good vs. aggro and control and is a monster topdeck late game.

If you insist on playing the super aggro version, the Mimic is a must. But that being said , you have negates in your deck. Kind of a contradiction in my opinion.

If you want a consistent, fast deck, add Mimic (and RWM/Jesara instead of finks) and cut negates.

If you have ziggarat in your deck, the obvious inclusion would be the armadillo cloak enchantment. Plus it saves Teag from Fallout.

Might be considered. Also Knight of New Alara playtested quite well and Knotvine Paladin too. Jhessian Inflitraitor wasn't so good.

Knight of New Alara is a 4 mana time walk for your opponent as just about anything can kill it.

Knotvine is meh.

I tested the deck at a recent tournement on Sunday.
It went 3-3 losing to 2 BWg token decks and a Naya Aggro deck. I'm thinking of switching the Martial Coups for Evacuation as I can't seem to get to 7 mana fast enough if hierarchs don't come out.
