This deck is my planeswalkers deck.

Lands
1 Forest
2 Mountain
2 Plains
4 [ALA] Jungle Shrine
3 [10E] Treetop Village
2 [10E] Battlefield Forge
2 [10E] Brushland
2 [10E] Kaplusan Forest
2 [SHM] Fire-Lit Thicket
2 [SHM] Wooded Bastion
1 [SHM] Reflecting Pool
23 Lands

Planeswalkers
4 [ALA] Ajani Vengeant
4 [LRW] Garruk Wildspeaker
3 [LRW] Chandra Nalaar
1 [ALA] Elspeth, Knight-Errant
12 Planeswalkers

Creatures
4 [10E] Troll Ascetic
4 Creatures

Other Spells
4 [CFX] Path to Exile
4 [CFX] Volcanic Fallout
3 [10E] Mind Stone
2 [LRW] Rings of Brighthearth
4 [LRW] Fertile Ground
2 [CFX] Banefire
2 [CFX] Martial Coup
21 Spells

Sideboards
4 [SHM] Guttural Response - Against 5cc
4 [ALA] Oblivion Ring - Against some other planeswalkers or enchantments
2 [EVE] Stillmoon Cavalier - Against WW/BW Token/Dark Bant
2 [LRW] Wild Ricochet - Against RDW/BR Aggro
3 [10E] Pithing Needle - Against Boat Brew

I'm using troll instead of finks or other creatures. Because opponent can't play any spell to troll and when it is defensed, It can be regenerate. Unless Wrath of God or Cruel Edict, it's almost invulnerable.

Garruk + fertiled land + X cost spell(Martial Coup or Banefire) are so fun:)

Any ideas and suggestions are welcome!

I think Troll Ascetic is a horrible choice. It just isn't a reliable blocker in the early stages of the game (the part when you really need blockers). It can't stop anything before turn 4 (unless you're okay with trading, in which case Finks is obviously better). Plus, holding up 2 mana is extremely annoying for this deck to have to do. Plus, it dies to Volcanic Fallout, which everyone is playing, including you! To summarize, I hate Troll Ascetic in this deck.

I don't think this deck necessarily needs to run any creatures, but I would rather have Kitchen Finks ahead of Troll Ascetic without question. Yea, they can remove Finks. So? Is there something wrong with gaining 4 life and trading one card for two of theirs? Wall of Reverence is another option, and maybe even Woolly Thoctar (not your prototypical defensive creature, but a 5/4 holds the fort reasonably well, plus he's obviously pretty good in conjunction with Elspeth, and no one will expect him). Again, though, 0 creatures could very well be correct.

The manabase could be better, as I'm sure you know. I personally would feel a lot better running Wrath of God than Martial Coup, but everyone loves X spells.

I Top 8ed at states with fellowship and have tried to make it work in todays gauntlet. But it just doesn't. It match ups vs B/W tokens and Boat Brew seem like it would be good, but it just isn't. 5CC is a little better but not by much. I scrapped this deck a few weeks ago and you should too. Just my 2 cents

I usually play with a very similar deck.. But I use creatures.. Finks, like almost players, and I use Birds or Noble too.. It helps with the mana... and this decks needs too much mana... so.. Wink

In the lands, you can add Terramorphic too... Its a nice card to this deck, and with rings on play, its a nice combination to take more mana! Wink
