ok, so i kinda suck at deck building here is a (probably failed) attempt at a bant deck
Qty Name
// Lands
8 Plains
3 Island
4 Bant Panorama
4 Seaside Citadel
3 Forest
//\\
// Creatures
4 Akrasan Squire
4 Guardians of Akrasa
4 Sigiled Paladin
2 Battlegrace Angel
3 Knight-Captain of Eos
2 Rafiq of the Many
3 Elspeth, Knight-Errant
3 Stoic Angel
2 Noble Hierarch
//\\
// Spells
3 Oblivion Ring
4 Bant Charm
3 Light from Within
3 Dispeller's Capsule
my plan is to get some exalted out in the first few rounds namely akrasan Squire and noble hierarch,
then for later in the game, knight captian+elspeth for damage control oblivion and bant charms for counter and remove
stoic angel to lock the board,
and rafiq as my win condition, played testing this deck has shown me its horrible, any advice would be welcome
ps i need a sideboard desperately... |

I don't play much type 2, so I dunno whether an Exalted deck is even viable, but I'm noticing some problems right away with 2 and 3-of's. That's going to make your late game inconsistent.
Guardians of Akrasa seems a poor choice compared to fellow 3-drop Rhox War Monk, or even 2 more Noble Hierarch to keep in the Exalted theme. Rafiq seems better as a 4-of, probably replacing Knight-Captain or Battlegrace Angel. Light from Within is weak compared to Ajani Goldmane or Glorious Anthem. Dispeller's Capsule could be a meta choice main, but I dunno what you're hitting with it, so it seems better sideboarded. |

Here's the thing with competitive magic: Don't build around a mechanic. Build around a winning strategy and use a mechanic if it's compatible with that strategy.
Building around exalted is inherently flawed because of Wrath of God. Either you mitigate that risk by packing counter spells, or you play really dense creatures that don't really need other exalted creatures to be good (Rafiq).
If you want a winning version of a bant deck, try Dark Bant or the version with shorecrasher mimic.
The keepers from your list would be rafiq, noble hierarch, and elspeth as these are perfectly good on their own. Battlegrace angel and stoic angel are also good on their own but a little too slow in this meta imo.
You need some creature removal (path to exile) and you should consider Rhox War Monk as it's very good vs anything with red. |

4 Noble Hierarch
4 Shorecrasher Mimic
4 Jhessian Infiltrator
4 Rhox War Monk
4 Rafiq of the Many
1 Loxodon Warhammer
2 Elspeth, Knight Errant
4 Bant Charm
2 Snakeform
4 Path to Exile
3 Negate
4 Seaside Citadel
4 Brushland
4 Yavimaya Coast
4 Reflecting Pool
2 Mystic Gate
2 Wooded Bastion
2 Flooded Grove
1 Vivid Grove
1 Vivid Creek
This is probably a better deck.
If you want exalted at any cost:
4 Akrasian Squire
4 Noble Hierarch
4 Sigiled Paladin
4 Knight of Meadowgrain
4 Rhox War Monk
4 Rafiq of the Many
2 Elspeth, Knight Errant
1 Loxodon Warhammer
3 Bant Charm
4 Path to Exile
3 Negate
4 Brushland
4 Yavimaya Coast
4 Seaside Citadel
2 Wooded Bastion
2 Mystic Gate
7 Plains |

change the guardians of akrasa into wild nacatyl
and light from within to glorious anthem
cut the capsules, add another oblivion ring
you need 2 more lands also
maybe consider ranger of eos since you could have 10+ 1 drops
2 moer noble hierarchs if you can manage it |

| I think the best thing you can do is stop playing your deck in type 2 ditch the few bad cards I'll leave other people to point them out and the very few non block cards and start playing block instead. |

really? No one is going to comment on the fact that Black1234 basically says, "I built a bad deck, I'm horrible at magic, I don't really care about advice because I'm gonna be bad regardless" and then gives a decklist?
If you believe you're bad and that your deck is horrible, guess what, you will be and it is. So why should people give you constructive criticism?
There is such thing as CONSTRUCTIVELY asking for constructive criticism. |

Here's your mana curve
1cc: 7 (3 path to exile)
2cc: 6 (2 negate)
3cc: 14 (4 bant charm)
4cc: 10
5cc: 2
(39 cards)
and 22 lands, 4 of which is Bant "sucks" Panorama, 3 of which lets you play Noble Hierarch turn 1. |

took out the bant panoramas, and added in reflecting pool, seems to be working a little better |

| 10th Edition painlands are good for increasing flexibility, and will make it more likely that you can play turn 1 heirarch, which is generally needed to get Bant Aggro up and running fast enough to stay ahead of control style decks. |
