Does anyone else think that Umezawa's Jitte should be banned in this format? It seems like it's a little over the top in this creature heavy format. It shows up in virtually every deck that turns guys sideways, which is a large portion of the meta.

I realize packing hate is an answer, but I just think that putting the nix on jitte would increase the focus on actual synergies between the creatures in the decks.

Let me know what you guys think. This is my first post here, and I'm glad to be a member of the community. Thanks again for taking the time to read this and respond.

While certainly being a powerful card, it does not mean every deck runs it, and the ones who do contribute to creating a healthy meta where you for example pack answers to it in the sideboard.

Jitte is easily countered, and if you're playing a creature deck vs a creature deck there's an equal chance that each side will get a jitte.

if you take away jitte, people will just use sofi or sols.... which will be even worse for many decks

I think jitte is annoying and lame. If you build an aggro deck you either play it or lose to it. I wouldn't say it's overpowered but I wouldn't mind it being banned either.
Btw bant charm maindeck is the tech Wink

I do not know if this is an ofically recognised format but if it is relevant or not jitte was banned in 100 card singleton along with skull clamp and gifts ungiven recently.
